Ambulance

I run after the paramedics downstairs as they put Felisha in the ambulance. I ask them if I can go in with them and they say it's alright if I do. I approach the ambulance and stand beside Felisha on the stretcher. She must have came conscious again because she's looking up at me.

"Hey Haley."

"Hi Felisha, are you okay?"

"Yeah, I'm fine. Why am I in an ambulance?"

"You hurt yourself."

"How?"

"Felisha, you cut again. You told me you wouldn't do it anymore. What happened?"

"I'm sorry. I just couldn't hold it in anymore."

"Couldn't hold what in? Felisha what's wrong?"

"I can't tell you. Can we go back inside now?"

"Yeah I guess, I'll tell the people you're okay."

"Thanks."

I tap the paramedic on the shoulder and she sweetly smiles at me.

"Can we bring her back inside now? She's okay."

"Are you sure she's fine?"

"I'm positive, she's a fighter."

"Alright, she's free to go. Please be sure to call if anything else like this happens, or even if you're just worried."

I help Felisha off the stretcher and guide her back into the house. She goes in the living room and sits on the couch. I sit cross legged on the arm of the couch and talk to Felisha. I need to get some answers.

"Felisha, what is going on? Please tell me."

"I can't! They told me not to."

"Who's they?"

"Angela and Josh."

Angela and Josh? Those are my parents names. Oh my Lord......is she? No! She can't be.

"Who's Angela and Josh?"

"Angela and Josh Brooks."

"B...Brooks?"

"Yes. Brooks, did you figure it out yet?"

"I think so. Why didn't you tell me sooner? Dang it Felisha, come on."

"I'm sorry! It's just, that they wanted my location to stay hidden for awhile until you got over me, then they sent you here this summer to reconnect with me. It wasn't so they could go to the resort, it was an excuse."

"Felisha! Why didn't you tell me? I still don't understand why you cut."

"Because......I did."

"Why Felisha, there's obviously something missing that you aren't telling me."

"I can't tell you Haley. I'm scared."

"Why are you scared? Please tell me, it will be okay I promise."

I can't believe Felisha is actually my sister, I've always wanted to see my sister again. Now I can. What isn't she telling me?!

"I can't tell you Haley! It crushed me and I can't relive the memories again."

"Who does it involve?"

"Dad."

"What did he do to you Felisha?! Gosh dang it you need to tell me right now. He was the perfect dad to me."

Felisha looks at me with a hurt look in her eyes.

"Yeah, maybe he was perfect to you."

"What does that mean? Tell me before I go insane."

"Okay, you promise you won't tell anyone?"

"Yes Felisha you can tell me anything, we're family."

"You know how I suddenly ran away?"

"Yes."

"Well, it was all dad's fault."

"What did he do?!"
