There was something about Jojo, he couldn't quite put his finger on it, but he knew she was something special. Her outlook on life was inspiring, and for the first time in a long time, he felt alright.
They sat comfortably on her couch. He couldn't help but notice how attractive she was. The girl was undeniably beautiful and insanely sexy. He took note of how her red dress complimented her tan complexion. Trying to memorize her every detail, since who knows if he'll ever see her again.

Jojo's smile hadn't wavered since the moment he had picked up his guitar. Somehow she could tell he was different. She'd been at that bar every night for the past week, and just like clockwork he'd show up and order the exact same drink. From the first night she saw him she could tell he was unhappy, actually the whole bar could tell if they bothered to glance at him. She assumed he had just had a rough day, but every night he'd stare at drink with the same sad expression. No one would bother him, and except for the small exchanges with the bartender, he'd remain completely silent. Still puzzled as to why tonight she decided to talk to him, all she knew was that she had to. It's something, something about this guy that just peaked her interest.

"You're amazing." She meant what she said, "I've never seen someone play guitar the way you do." Ed continued to blush, "If only she knew," he kept thinking to himself.

"Jojo, when can I see you again?" The brunette reached and held his hand, "I like you, like a lot, promise me if you're ever in New York you'll hit me up." Feeling bold, Ed leaned in, and with his other hand he gently held her face, and kissed her lips. In that moment it felt as if the stars had aligned, and everything was right with the world. Her lips tasted sweet, just like he assumed they'd be. "I promise," he quietly whispered.

For the rest of the night the two just laid on her couch, talking about both of their lives, and watched "Friends" a show they both loved. Eventually around 3 A.M. Jojo fell asleep in his embrace, and he gently got up, careful not to wake her. After looking around he found a random piece of paper to leave her a note.

"You've been the highlight of my month, if not year. I'm leaving Dallas today, but like I promised, if I'm ever in New York I'll be sure to reach out.

-Brad"

He covered her up with a blanket, and gently placed a kiss on her forehead. Ed let out a light laugh, he somehow become the definition of a cliche, but tonight he didn't care, tonight was perfect.
