First, Roman scanned his strange, new surroundings. Path. River (which seemed unnaturally clear and blue). Trees. Castle. Castle?

In front of him, at the end of the winding path, was a large, shining, white castle, covered in gold. It looked like something out of a fairytale. The sun shone down on it, making it shine and sparkle as if it was made of glitter. Roman was half expecting a flock of birds to swirl through the air, chirping a Disney-like melody. Instead, he was met with growling.

He slowly made his way to the source of the noise, watching out for any signs of danger. He expected some sort of monster which would obviously mean a battle where he would obviously win because he was a prince and a knight. He pulled his sword out of the sheath, preparing a few witty lines for after the beast had been defeated. However, instead of a huge beast with razor sharp teeth and six arms, he found...

A dog.

A small, brown Border Collie with a blue collar which had been tied to a wooden sign by a long rope. As Roman approached, the dog sat up and barked at him. "Aww, what are you doing tied up here?" He used his sword to cut the thick rope from around the collar and leant down to read the small charm which dangled from the blue material, expecting a name or an address.

'Infinitesimal' was engraved on the smooth metal and, as Roman read it aloud, the dog growled, making multiple noises of frustration. There was only one person who reacted like that.

"Wait... Logan?" It nodded. "Oh my gosh, what happened to you?" Logan stared at him. "Right, you're a dog, so you can't talk. Well, what do you think we should do next?"

Logan seemed to think for a second before slowly walking further up the path, motioning for Roman to follow. He did so, attempting to hide a laugh. Logan was a dog. Wow. This was going to be interesting...
