Princey and Logan carried on towards the large castle. However, a while later, they stopped when they came across a fork in the road. On the left, a large, stone labyrinth, on the right, a slightly curved open path with flowers and birds and deer, and the sun beaming directly onto it, making everything look warm and nice, that lead straight to the castle.

"Well, this is a no-brainer." Roman looked down towards Logan, who was sniffing the air, sensing something familiar. He walked towards the stone entrance of the maze, his ears pricking up as something moved inside. "Hello?" A call came from the labyrinth. A familiar voice.

"Patton?" Roman stopped in his tracks as he heard it. More movement came from inside. "Roman? Thank goodness!"

Roman rolled his eyes and sighed. "Hang on Pat, we'll come find you." Logan dragged his paws as he slowly walked through the entrance, picking up Patton's scent. It took a few twists and turns but they finally came across the father figure, who was playing with a stick.

Morality jumped to Prince and hugged him tight. "Roman! I've been looking for you for ages! You haven't, by any chance, come across Logan yet, have you?" Prince coughed awkwardly and looked down at the large dog who was sitting patiently at his feet.

Morality's face lit up. "Oh. My. Goodness! That is so sweet! You're Princey's little companion." He reached out and scratched Logan behind the ear. Lo leant into the touch, wagging his tail. Princey smiled at the logical trait's behaviour. "Come on, let's find a way out of here." Patton stopped Roman by placing a hand on his shoulder as he was about to turn. He waved his stick in the air. "Get us back on the path." He shouted.

A flash of light and they were back on the path, all three of them, all in one piece. "Patton! You have a wand?" Roman exclaimed, amazed at the sheer luck of finding, not just Patton, but a magic Patton. "Yeah! I found it sticking out of a boulder. It doesn't work all the time though. That's why I was stuck in the maze." Even as a dog, you could see the worry in Logan's face.

Pat turned back to Logan. "I might be able to get you talking again. Would you like that, boy, would you?" He stretched his arm out to Logan but the dog backed away, terrified of what Patton could do with magic. Pat muttered something under his breath and aimed the stick at Lo. Logan felt tingly and his tail wagged slightly.

He sighed. "Will somebody please get this collar off me?" Pat smiled. "Wait. Patton, you could have made me human again."

"I know."
