I stood up and followed Sam to the gun range.

I think that when Sam was showing me around this was the place that shocked me the most. I mean, they had an entire gun range in this place. It was huge!

Before he would even let me touch a gun, he talked me through all of the gun etiquette. Stuff like to keep the safety on when I wasn't using it.

He also filled me in on their 'shoot first, ask questions later' policy.

I thought it was stupid because if you shoot first and they're dead you can't ask any questions. Well, you can, but they won't be able to answer you.

Even though I thought that I shrugged because they were the hunters, not me.

Then he explained all of the pieces of the gun as well as how to take them apart and put them together.

Finally, he taught me how to refill the bullets.

He handed me a gun and told me to take it apart and put it back together.

I nodded and did as told. I was slow but did it right.

Sam seemed impressed that I did it right on my first try. He said it didn't matter that I did it slowly because he said I would get used to it and eventually do it in seconds.

He also had me put bullets in an empty gun which was ten times easier than taking it apart.

He nodded once again before getting into position and shooting an entire round at a target.

Every bullet hit the center.

Woah.

He reloaded the gun before handing it to me.

I went into the next booth and tried to mimic the position he was standing in.

"Is this right?"

I looked back at him and he was studying the position I was in.

(A/N- I know what you're thinking ya little nasties!!)

He walked up behind me and my breathing stopped when his arms wrapped around me.

He adjusted my position and started talking me through the aiming process. Sam continued to keep his arms around me and adjust my arms as he talked.

Only once he thought I was completely ready did he back up. I felt the loss of his body warmth as soon as he moved.

I followed all of Sam's instructions before resting my finger on the trigger.

I waited for Sam's signal that it was okay before pulling the trigger and watching as the bullet hit the target.

It landed about half way between the outside of the target in the middle. Not bad, but not good either.

"That's actually pretty good for a first shot. Don't worry, you'll get better with practice."

I nodded, not quite sure.

I was already working on how to handle a knife when Dean came back.

Sam told him about everything we had already gone over and how I had done so far.

Dean looked shocked.

"Wow, you already know that much huh?"

I nodded.

"She's a fast learner."

I blushed at Sam's words. It doesn't really sound like much of a compliment, but coming from Sam...

Dean looked at me and noticed the shade my cheeks had changed to.

I saw the wheels turning in his head and then his eyebrow raised in a silent question to me.

I simply glared at him.

Great, now Dean knows about my little crush.
