Chapter Six

Mae's POV 

Blake is in the other room, playing with my niece, while i put the finishing touches on my outfit. I could hear Megan's giggles from the bathroom. 

I decide to wear white shorts with a pink and white tank top. I braided the edges of my hair together and put the remainder into a side ponytail. I put on some eye shadow with pink lipstick, then grab my bag and slip on my sandals.

Around two, Blake, Megan, and i make our way into a restaurant called Grub. As soon as Megan saw her mommy and daddy, she ran into their arms. it must be nice being a parent. I feel like everyone I'm around knows what it's like to be a parent expect for me.

"so... Erin and i have some big news to share..." Tony started off.

"you're having another baby?" I ask.

"Oh God, no! we're getting married!" Erin says, putting up her hand so i can see her engagement ring.

"oh my God! I'm so happy for you two!" I say, excitingly.

"Yeah, and we're hoping you'd be in the wedding." Tony adds.

"of course I will! when do you guys plan on having the wedding?" I ask

"we're thinking possibly the end of July." Erin says.

"sweet it's gonna be in my birth month." my birthday is on the 21st of July. (same day as Deandre Jordan!)

"yup. we're having it back in Ohio. Mae, I want you to be a bridesmaid." Erin says, smiling at me.

"yes! definitely! I'd love to!" I am so happy Erin chose me to be a bridesmaid in her wedding.

The next morning, Blake and i make our way to the airport to say goodbye to Erin, Tony, and Megan. After we say our goodbyes, Blake takes me to the Blu Jam Cafe for breakfast. 

"So Mae, what do you want to do on this beautiful Sunday?" Blake asks before he bites into his toast.

"I don't know. Probably just go home and sleep." I say and start to drink some of my orange juice.

"no. lets do something today." Blake whined.

"But what about your game today?" I ask.

"I have to be there at 5 for pregame practice. but until then, lets go do something."

"Like what?"

"want to go to the beach?" Blake suggests.

"Yeah. that sounds cool." I say, starting to pick up a piece of my pancake with my fork.

Blake drops me off at my apartment and tells me he'll be back in an hour with DJ.

I found my pink bikini that ties in the front. i put them on along with denim shorts and a black see through tunic. I didn't really bother to really do my hair today, and i knew it would get wet at the beach, so i decided to wet it, then brush through it and reveal my natural curly hair. 

By the time it dried, Blake was here with DJ. I made my way out the door, and got into the back seat of Blake's car.

At the beach, i walk hand in hand with Blake until we find a place to set up and chill for a bit. Blake and DJ abandon me after about 30 minutes of talking to go play basketball at the basketball court.

I look at my phone to see Lilly's face pop up.

"Heyyyy gurrrrrl!" I shout into the phone.

"Hey gurl heyyyy!" Lilly replies back, shouting as well.

"So what's up?" I ask

"Just wanted to know if you were still coming to my album release party. Its gonna be so awesome!" Lilly says.

a/n: I forgot to mention Lilly is a music artist that got signed to Island Def Jam records about 7 months ago, thanks to me. She use to be a singing you tuber, until i helped get her discovered.

"Of course i am! Its tomorrow, right?" I ask, hoping I'm right.

"Yes. We can go together." Lilly says

"Alright. That will be perfect!" I reply back

"Alright, i got to do some stuff to prepare for the party tomorrow. Ill talk to you later." Lilly says

"Alright. Bye."

"Bye."

After i get off the phone, i decide to go find the guys. I see them on the court, but there not alone, they also weren't even playing basketball anymore. There were about 3 slutty girls in just there bikinis. 2 blonde and one brunette. I observed as i watched as Blake kept staring at one of the blonde's ass. i was furious. A part of me wanted to slap everyone of those slutty hoes, but the other part of me wants to just slap Blake in the face for engaging with them. Like, he could have left if he wanted to. 

I decided to walk it off before i did something i would regret. 

While I'm walking, i look down at my phone and go through my messages. No longer looking where I'm going, i get knocked down by another person.

Okay, so i decided to update a little something for you guys cause i got bored. I got my new phone yesterday! :) 

Sorry its kinda short this time but whatevs. Anyways... Who do you think knocked Mae down. 

Anyone else upset the Clippers lost last night. I feel they could have won. I'm kinda mad Doc didn't put Crawford in. Is he still hurt? He looked alright to me, but whatever :/
