Chapter Fifteen

Mae's POV

Today is Ford's 1st birthday. I feel pretty special to be able to celebrate his first birthday with him. Even though he is not my child, I'd still love him regardless. He's adorable and sweet. Sometimes he calls me "mama", but he's a baby, he calls everyone mama, even Blake.

I'm in the kitchen cooking and baking with mama Griffin. She's very nice. We've met before, but never really got to talk. At first i thought she didn't like me. Thank God I was wrong.

Blake and Brynn ordered Ford's cake, so we just had to make the food.

The party was starting and there were dozens of little munchkins running around. It was way too cute. I can't wait to be a mom one day.

It was time to open presents. Brynn and Ford went to the present table and started opening the presents together. I just stand there and admire them together like that.

"Babe. You okay?" Blake asks, holding onto my waist.

"Yeah. I'm fine." I reassure him.

"One day, we'll have a kid together. Ford will have another sibling, and we'll be a big happy family." Blake says, kissing my temples.

"You think so?" I ask.

"I know so. I want you to be the mother to my second child and any more children we have after that! It's my number one goal, next to marring you one day, of course." Blake said, kissing my lips this time.

"I promise no one can ruin that for us..." Blake mumbles into our kiss.

He should've knocked on wood, because in that very moment someone knocked on the door. You couldn't possibly guess who it was...
