—Enough Bullshit For One Day
Jimin walks through the school with Taehyung glued to his hip. When they arrive to their Algebra 2 class, Taehyung started going on and on about how amazing their teacher was, which Jimin later found out the reason behind Taehyung's excitement was because their teacher was actually his dad.
True to his word.
Mr. Kim was the epitome of Taehyung's personality only in an older body. The same rectangular grin took over his aged face when Taehyung introduced him as the new student who was super, ridiculously smart. Jimin blushed furiously at all the praise. Taehyung had only known him for one class period and he was already rambling about all the good qualities that he carried. Jimin appreciated the compliments but he felt like Taehyung was going way too far.
"It's good to know my little Taebear found someone he can be friends with," Jimin tries not to cringe at the pet name, but seriously, Jimin now understood why Taehyung was the way he was, "Jin is graduating soon and we weren't sure how he would cope with the pressure that comes as a high schooler," Jimin looks up and sees the man adjust his glasses while he lets out a deep sigh, "I hope you like this school Jimin, if you have any questions I'm sure Taehyung will be able to give you an answer," Jimin faces Taehyung who's grinning like an excited child while nodding his head, "Thank you," Jimin smiles.
Students begin pooling in, so Jimin takes it as an indication to find their seat. They take a seat in the front row, right next to one another and right in front of the teacher's desk. Mr. Lee acts 100% like a teacher should, and even scolds Taehyung once in a while for talking while he's teaching. Jimin laughs because at least now he knows that the teacher will not treat them any different just because he is Taehyung's father.
When class ends, they leave with some homework in their backpack. Jimin is reminded that he entered the school in the middle of the school year and that there will be homework even though he's a new student. Once they exit the classroom, the hallways are flooded with students. Most of them are wearing their uniform, but now that he thinks about it, Taehyung isn't wearing a uniform and neither were the guys from Chemistry class.
"Why aren't you wearing a uniform?" The words are out of his mouth before he can stop to think if it was even something appropriate to ask. Taehyung stops looking through the lockers and turns around to look at Jimin. He inhales before he begins explaining something about his uniform being dirty and not having another one clean for the day. He said something about his mom telling him not to worry since it was Thursday anyway, and then began by telling Jimin about the dress code being so stupid and that even if students were supposed to wear them, some teachers never even bothered to ask why they weren't wearing one.
"Maybe it's because you're every teacher's pet?" he tilts his head sideways like an innocent puppy. Taehyung gapes at him, looking offended. Jimin can't stop the giggles when he realizes that Taehyung took it seriously and begins letting out sorry's out of his mouth. Taehyung huffs and begins walking away with a smirk. Jimin chases after him when Taehyung tells him how mean he was and that because of that, he wouldn't show him where the cafeteria was.
"Tae stop! My legs are freaking short! This isn't fair!" he whines as he continues to run after him, he can hear Taehyung giggling, and that's enough to know that he's just teasing him. Taehyung eventually comes to stop when Jimin grabs hold of his shirt and tugs on it hard.
"Fine, fine. Let go of my shirt you caveman! If you get it wrinkled I'm going to make you iron it," he pouts and Jimin let's go immediately. He flattens the palms of his hands on top of the fabric and begins rubbing it carefully, "There, there. Good as new," he grins.
"Whatever," Taehyung begins looking at the locker numbers until he finds the one numbered with a 113 on it. Jimin hands him the paper with the combination and Taehyung opens it rather quickly. He tells Jimin that his is across the hall and then offers to hold his backpack while he stores everything inside.
When he's done, he keeps his bag with only his dance wear inside, and then slams the metal door close, "Okay! Where to now?" he asks.
They both lean against the lockers to look over the schedule. Jimin notices that the school runs on block schedules, meaning that he will only have 4 classes a day, and the next day he will have the other four. Taehyung traces his index finger over the page, and nods, "Lunch! You have lunch A! With me, come on!" he grabs hold of Jimin's hand and begins dragging him across campus and into the cafeteria.
Once they line up and get their food, they realize that there's only one empty table in the corner of the big hall. Jimin smiles and points a stubbly finger towards the table, tells him that they should go sit there before someone else gets it.
Before Taehyung can answer, Jimin is already walking towards the table. Some people stare in shock, but no one says anything. Jimin continues to walk and when he reaches the table, he puts his tray down and turns to see why Taehyung stopped.
He sees him standing a couple tables behind, his head shaking sideways and mouthing him to move, Jimin doesn't understand why and he really is just damn hungry that he doesn't want to bother to wait for Taehyung to come sit. He drops down on a chair and begins munching on his food. He takes out his phone and begins sending a text to his mom, thanking her for giving him money because thanks to that, he was able to get something decent to eat.
As soon as he presses the send button, a tray falls down on the table creating a loud clanking noise that makes Jimin drop his phone, "What the h—," he groans when he sees who's taking a seat on the table.
"Why are you here?" he asks, his appetite suddenly gone. He picks up his phone and begins wiping away the tiny bits of bread before stuffing the phone back in his bag.
"Why am I here?" The minty head asks, an amused grin on his lips, "More like what are you doing here? This is my table." Suddenly, his two followers sit next to Jimin, a pretty girl with orange hair takes a seat next to Yoongi and wraps her hand around the crook of his elbow, "Our table," he finishes with a smug appearance. He turns around and leaves a sloppy kiss on the girl's temple, "Now fuck off pretty boy."
Jimin huffs, and stands up angrily, "You know what?" he says as he lifts his uneaten food tray from the table, "You're a fucking asshole," he says before dumping his opened milk carton on Yoongi's hair.
Jimin almost runs out of the cafeteria, his blood boiling with rage but there's also a small amount of fear that lingers for not knowing how the guy would react.
Thankfully, he makes it out of the cafeteria safe and in one piece.
This is enough bullshit for one day, he thinks.
