— Of Jealous Boyfriends And Soft KissesNews travel fast when you're in High School, and soon enough, by the end of the week everyone knew that the school resident bad boy and the sophomore sweetheart had officially become a couple. To say everything was turning out to be a walk on the park would be pure bullshit because apparently, some people just don't know how to stay away from someone's boyfriend.
It happens during lunch time, Jimin had already taken a seat with his friends and was waiting for his boyfriend to grab his own food and join them. Jimin is busy chatting with Taehyung when Jin points out that Yoongi is been held by the elbow by a girl.
Jimin snaps his head in their direction, gaze turning into a furious glare and lips turned downward. He can see the girl—oh, it's Hyuna again— clinging onto Yoongi who's trying to pull away without being rude. Namjoon is standing by their side, holding Yoongi's tray, and biting his lip in annoyance.
It seems like forever when Yoongi all but pushes the girl off himself and glares at her, he says something that eventually leaves the girl starring with wide eyes at him. Jimin watches as the mint haired guy banks his tray from his friend's hands and starts to make his way towards Jimin's table.
The tray clanks as he drops it on the table, then he drops down on the chair with a deep sigh. Jimin watches his every move until Yoongi lifts his head and places a kiss on his forehead.
"Hey baby," Jimin replies with a small curve of his lips, "Do you want to do something this weekend?" Yoongi asks.
"I don't know, do you?" Jimin throws a fry in his mouth, the voices of his friends are tuned out while he talks with his boyfriend.
"Yeah, we should have a movie night or something."
"Mhmm, sounds fun, my mom and dad would like to meet you," Jimin responds while he takes some sips from his banana milk, "My mom's been wanting to see you, you know."
Yoongi takes a bite from his pizza slice, "She knows about us?" Jimin nods and smiles, his short jealous episode long forgotten.
"That's fine then, should I go home with you today then? Since it's Friday." Jimin nods, and soon they join the ongoing conversation with Taehyung and Hoseok.
-
"Are you nervous?"
"Just a bit."
"Don't be."
"Can't help it,"
"..."
"They aren't like—homophobic or religious, right?"
"Calm down, they'll love you."
"..."
"Trust me?"
"Okay."

Yoongi bites his nails the entire ride home, that much Jimin can tell. His mom had been nothing but nice and sweet, but regardless of her kind nature, Jimin knows that his mom can be terrifying when she has to be.
"So Yoongi-ah, Jimin told me you guys started dating a few days ago," She smiles through the rearview mirror, "You seem like a sweet kid, but you seem nothing like Jiminie's type considering his previous boyfriend."
Jimin groans, cheeks turning a deep read, "Mom," he mumbles.
"What was his boyfriend like?" Yoongi asks.
"Oh Chanyeol was very tall and his skin's a lot darker than yours. He was in the student council— oh Jimin turn that down!" she glares at him when he sheepishly turns up the radio.
"Anyway, you're just the total opposite, which is okay, as long as you treat my baby nicely," she smiles at him and begins to scold Jimin for interrupting her when she's talking.
Several minutes later, they arrive home. Jimin literally runs out of the car and leads Yoongi inside their house.
"Please ignore my mom," Jimin whispers as they stroll through the living room where his dad is watching a re-run episode of The Good Doctor. Jimin freezes as his dad pauses the tv and shouts his name.
"I thought you were working dad!" he whines, pulling Yoongi along with him. They take a seat on the couch next to his dad's recliner.
"And I didn't know you were bringing someone over," the oldest Park replies.
"I told mom I would bring Yoongi hyung over today,"
"You must be Yoongi then, young man," Jimin rolls his eyes at his father's attempts at playing the scary dad role.
"Yes sir, Min Yoongi, nice to meet you."
"I haven't seen you around with Taehyung or Jin, have I?"
Yoongi's eyes widen and shakes his head.
"You sure you're just his friend?"
Yoongi's eyes grow impossibly wider, cheeks dusted a soft pink in contrast with his porcelain skin tone.
"DAAAAAADDDDD!" Jimin groans and pulls him up from the couch, "Stop scaring him!"
His dad breaks out in uncontrollable laughter, Yoongi is taken aback with the turn of events, doesn't understand what's so funny about the situation.
Jimin spins around and gapes at him with an incredulous look, "He teasing you dummy!" Yoongi takes a moment to process what he's been told, several seconds later he breaks out in a chuckle.
"Oh my god dad, you're awful!" Jimin glares at his dad one more time before he pulls Yoongi up the stairs and into his room.
"Please ignore both of my parents hyung, I didn't know my dad would be here, I thought he'd be at the hospital or something," Jimin lays down on the bed facing the ceiling.
"Is he sick or something?"
"No silly, he works there almost everyday, my mom does too but not so often," Jimin sits up, pats the side of his bed for Yoongi to sit on.
"I didn't know you were rich,"
"I'm not," Jimin pouts, doesn't know if he should take what Yoongi is saying the wrong way or not.
"I didn't know you had a boyfriend before," Yoongi decides to change the topic.
"I didn't know it was important enough to tell you,"
"Your mom seems very fond of him," Yoongi replies.
"Chanyeol is nice, he made me happy when we dated. We're still friends, so there's no reason to make him into a bad person." Jimin reasons.
"You sound like you still like him,"
"Are you jealous?"
"No"
"You are,"
"Nope," Jimin smirks, straddles Yoongi's lap and stares deep into his eyes.
"You are so jealous Yoongi hyung," he giggles loudly when Yoongi rolls his eyes at the obvious. He comes to the conclusion that the best of making Jimin shut up is by pressing his lips over his mouth, "Shut up," he growls softly, and thankfully Jimin finally shuts up.
