—What's The Point Of Being Smart If You're Not Having Fun?
Jimin is once again saved by the sound of the bell dismissing the entire student body to their last class. Ignoring the question, he stands up hastily throwing his back pack over his shoulder and takes a deep inhale, "It's not like that Tae, he's just my friend." Taehyung rolls his eyes, but doesn't push it any further.
They step out of the classroom side by side, halting right next to the water fountain, "I'll get going now, text me okay?" Taehyung nods with a pout, Jimin pulls him in a hug, "Don't be mad Tae, I promise I won't keep any secrets from you anymore," Taehyung wraps his long arms around his head, squeezes him like a boa causing Jimin to smack him on his back, and pull away.
He grins, "I forgive you," Jimin finds himself smiling back, "Thanks loser, now go to class before you're late." Taehyung nods, raises his arms in the air and waves at him, "I'll text ya, 'kay?" Jimin hums before they both head their own way, Taehyung to band and himself to dance class.

He's sitting down on the wooden floor when someone takes a seat next to him, he turns his head to the newcomer, breaking into a full smile when he's met with Hoseok's bright appearance.
"Hello Jimin-ah," he greets, "How's your day going so far?"
"So far so good, yours?" he responds while he straightens his leg and reaches his toes.
Hoseok does the same, "Eh, it's okay. You know, there's a party going on this weekend," Jimin hums, urging him to continue, "I was wondering if you would like to go? You and your friends, if you want," he adds.
Jimin thinks it over, "Will there be drugs and alcohol involved?" he asks innocently, head tilted to the side like a puppy.
"Uh—," Hoseok looks forward to his feet, then turns his face back to Jimin who's still waiting for an answer, he chuckles, "Of course not! It'll just be small party, more like a get together," Jimin's mouth gapes before breaking into a grin, "Ah! alright, sure, but my mom will probably want to know who I'm going with," he responds.
"We can pick you up then," Hoseok says, pulling his phone out of his pocket and handing it over to Jimin, "Put your number in."
Jimin does as told, handing the device back. Hoseok stands up and heads to the front of the room, claps once, twice, grabbing everyones attention and starts class.

Just like every day after school, the hallways are like a battle field, girls giggling running towards their boyfriends, guys exchanging handshakes, others trying to hurry up and get out, others heading towards after school detention, its chaotic and Jimin just wants to get out. He quickly puts his textbooks in his backpack, and heads out to the front of the school. He takes his usual spot on the bench, and starts a group chat with Taehyung and Jin while he waits for his mom to pick him up. He wants to ask if hey want to go to the party, he hopes they say yes because he really wants them to become friends with Hoseok. He also thinks it'd be a neat idea, something that they will all remember then they are out of high school.
Taebear— Who's party is it?
Hyung— Will your parents even let you go?
Jimin reads the messages, and doesn't exactly know who's party it is, so he settles for saying that it is Hoseok's party and that his parents will let him go because they are all for allowing him to make memories and have fun. (Safely of course)
Hyung— I'll go just cause someone has to babysit you Minie...
Hyung— Plus, I can't remember the last time i went to a party
Taebear— I'm in just cause I don't trust that guy too much, and cause Jin hyung is going too.
Jimin grins, and texts back a little too quickly. They agree on going home together Friday after school, Taehyung sends a bunch of balloon and happy face emojis, he also says something about needing help with homework so Jimin agrees on helping him. Their conversation turns pointless, but he enjoys it nonetheless. A loud honk causes him to jump up, he finds his mom's car parked right in front of him, the passenger window rolled down, "Come on honey, your dad's making dinner tonight and I don't want to find the fireman in the kitchen," she says with a grin. Jimin laughs wholeheartedly, his dad may be an expert with a scalpel but he can't use a kitchen knife to save his own life. He springs up on his feet and runs towards the car, "Why would he even attempt it mom? I don't want to get food poisoning, or even worse, end up homeless at 15!" he jokes while he opens the door and accommodates himself.
The window's rolled up as soon as he's inside, "He wanted to make up for not eating diner with us this whole week, he said he wanted to spend quality time baby," his mom says.
"Mmm, is he working overnight again this weekend?" he asks.
His mom sighs and nods, "He is, apparently, nobody told him this hospital was understaffed, so he's needed even more." Jimin re reads his conversation with Taehyung and Jin, and decides to ask his parents over dinner. The drive falls into a comfortable silence, and soon enough they arrive at their home.

Surprisingly enough, his dad's simple recipe isn't as bad as he'd thought it'd be. They eat together and share what their days were like, Jimin is finished with his portion, and just stares at the way his mom and dad stare at each other. He knows he shouldn't be nervous for asking but he still can't help feeling like he's going to throw up. He takes a deep inhale, "Mom, Dad, can I go to a friend's party this weekend?"
His dad's eye widen noticeably, a gentle smile takes over his aged face, "With Taehyung?" Jimin shakes his head, "Um, no. His name is Hoseok, he's a junior and he's from my dance class. He invited me and Tae, even Jin hyung is going," he adds.
"Oh, I haven't met him, have I?" Jimin shakes his head, "No but he's really nice," His mom smiles warmly, reaches her hand across the table and entangles her thin fingers with her husbands larger hand, "He should go darling, he hasn't hung out with anyone but Taehyung since we moved here," she resonates.
"I know, I know," he says, "But I want to talk to this Hoseok guy, what if he's just some type of delinquent and get's Jimin in trouble or hurt?" Jimin groans, "Dad, he's not a bad guy. He'll come meet you if you want, Jin hyung is also going, he's going to be there with us all the time."
His dad thinks about it for a couple seconds before he sighs and agrees, "Fine, you can go, but I want you back by 11. And I want to meet that friend of yours," he says sternly, even though he means no harm.
Jimin smiles and jumps up from his seat, "Thank you daddy, you're the best!" he hugs his dad and kisses his mom on the cheek, then he picks up his dirty plate, washes it and disappears into his bedroom.
