—Good Vibes Only
It isn't until lunch time that Jimin gets to see Yoongi for the first time all day and just like he had said, he was in the library scanning a tall pile of books. Jimin checks himself, making sure his uniform is spotless, taking a deep breath, he begins walking towards the scowling student.
He stops behind Yoongi who's still unaware of his presence, and taps a chubby index finger on his shoulder causing him to jerk backwards and stumble dumbly in front of him. Yoongi's mouth falls open, ready to let out a list of profanities but it falls shut just as quick, his eyes wide in surprise as he finds a smiling Jimin behind him.
"Hi," Jimin's smile is as bright as the sun, Yoongi thinks it may even rival Hoseok's.
"Hey, it's you." Yoongi sighs while he sets the book down on the table, "What are you doing here?"
Jimin hums as he walks around until he stands in front of Yoongi, his hands grip the straps of his backpack nervously, "I told you I'd come back today," he responds.
"I didn't think you really would,"
"Well I did," Jimin picks up one of the books from the unorganized stack and gives it a once over before putting it back down, "Do you know any good books?"
"Depends... What kind of books do you like?"
"Mystery?" Jimin says.
"Yeah, come on. I'll show you," Yoongi leads the way until they find themselves in a small area at the back of the library, Yoongi shows him the ones he likes and Jimin doesn't even look over the summary before he's already stuffing it under his arm, thanking him.
Yoongi gapes at him, visibly swallows before clearing his throat, "If that's all, then the old hag at the front desk will check you out," he turns around and begins heading back to his designated work area, trying to ignore the way a lone butterfly started to flutter faintly in his stomach.
"Y' know, I thought you were nice yesterday, but I take it back," Jimin tails behind him.
"Tell me something I don't know," Jimin fakes interest and begins scanning the remainder of the books, "Aren't you suppose to be in class right now?"
Jimin sulks, "It's lunch time hyung," Yoongi's hand stills for a moment, "Should I help you out? Maybe you can finish faster if you have an extra set of hands."
Jimin begins handing him the books, not even waiting for Yoongi to respond, "I'm fine kid, go to class."
"Why do you keep calling me a kid? I'm not a kid, plus, we're in the same chemistry class, you can't be that much older than me," Jimin retorts with a smirk, and if looks could kill, he's sure he'd be dead by now if the glare on Yoongi's face is anything to by.
"I'm eighteen, and you—" Yoongi spits, "You looks like a snotty 5 year old," Jimin's mouth falls open, feeling slightly offended.
"I almost 16! And I don't look 5," he defends himself, dropping the books in his hand loudly on the table, "It's not my fault you're in the same grade as me."
Oops.
Jimin's hit a nerve, it is clear by the way Yoongi's shoulders slouch as he lets out a pitiful sigh.
"I'm sorry," Jimin is quick to apologize, "Sometimes the words just come out of my mouth."
"Whatever, it's not your fault I suck in Chemistry," Yoongi shrugs it off as if nothing had happened.
"Is that why you're taking it as a senior?" Jimin starts holding the books again.
"It's the only class I need to graduate," he responds.
"But why AP? Wouldn't it be easier for you to take the regular class?"
"My brother chose my classes at the beginning of the year, now it's too late to change."
"Oh, right. Is your brother the one who picks you up from school?"
Yoongi looks over at him and smiles, "Yeah."
"I see," Jimin returns the smile, and they begin sorting another stack of books.
They do this until the bell rings, and Jimin has to head back to class.

Dance class is fun, even more so when Jimin is in a good mood. Though his mood quickly drops when the door's pushed open, and one of Yoongi's followers walks through with a sports bag hung over his shoulder.
He can hear the hushed whispers of the students near him, some are in awe of the guy, some groan in annoyance, wondering what he's doing here, and Jimin can't help but shrink into himself as much as he can, not wanting to bring any unnecessary attention to himself. He doesn't know if he dislikes him just yet, but he knows that just because Yoongi isn't on bad terms with him anymore, it didn't necessarily mean the others weren't.
However, his thoughts disperse when someone clasps their hands together loudly, catching everyone in the class' attention. Jimin looks up from his spot on the wooden floor where he'd been previously stretching, his eyes meet with the brown haired guys' bright face as he begins to talk, "As you may already know, I'm Hoseok, and I'll be taking over the class today since Mr. Yung is attending a meeting."
Jimin hears students mumbling to one another, "Alright let's warm up everyone!" he claps twice and everyone stands all at once.
Surprisingly, class passes by smoothly, Hoseok never treated him unfairly, and Jimin finds himself enjoying the class even though the teacher was absent, he executes the simple steps taught by Hoseok, and even receives some compliments on how fluid and naturally he dances.
Jimin shy's away, blushing lightly while thanking them. By the end of the class, Jimin wonders why Hoseok was allowed to be the replacement, though when he rethinks it, it is rather obvious simply by the way he easily carried on with the class, and the way his body twisted and turned when he demonstrated the steps in from of the room.
Jimin heads to the shared locker rooms, and starts digging for a clean outfit. Once he's got his clothes, he begins undressing and turns on one of the shower taps. He hurries and manages to wash himself as clean as he can in a matter of 10 minutes. When he gets out and changes, he looks at himself in the mirror and runs a hand through his dripping wet hair, a voice startles him from behind, "Hey,"
Jimin comes eye to eye with Hoseok, he has a towel wrapped around his waist and Jimin unintentionally looks at his slightly toned stomach, "Hey?"
If Hoseok notices the staring, he doesn't mention it, "I just wanted to say you have some great skills," he smiles, "What is it? Contemporary? Some popping too?"
Jimin gulps nervously, "Ah yes, thank you," he tries to smile, hoping it didn't come out too stiff.
"Ah you know, the school has a crew, if you'd like to join, I can hook you up," Jimin feels overwhelmed, the turn of events is different from what he'd imagined.
"Um, thank you for the offer," Jimin smiles, truly smiles this time, "I have to get going now though, my mom's waiting for me outside, but I'll think about it okay?" Hoseok nods with a smile, so he excuses himself and runs outside feeling giddy.
His mom greets him warmly, and asks him how his day went.
He begins retelling the list of events and asks her what she thinks about Hoseok's offer, and of course, knowing his mom, she encourages him to do it.
They arrive home within a few minutes, and Jimin all but runs into his room, throwing himself on top of his bed and screaming excitedly into his pillow.
