Jessica's POV:
Through the entire ride, there was a strange atmosphere between Alexander and Leo. They didn't seem to be ..... the best of friends. I thanked Jesus for getting all of us there in one piece without those two hurting each other. When we arrived, Amber was standing outside and was waving to us. "Sorry guys! I just couldn't resist! I had to him again!" Alexander ran over to Amber and carried her in bridal style. They laughed as he started to tease her and she shot him back with playful insults. I looked at Leo who seemed to be fighting the urge to punch a wall. Or Alexander. Or possibly both. Either way, it made me feel uncomfortable. I tried the lighten the mood a bit by starting a conversation. "So how come you left us?" I asked. "I was so glad that I was going to be able to see Alexander again. "She smiled. I've never seen her so happy before. They must really have a great past together. "Was it hard to get them here?" Amber asked her friend. He glanced at Leo and he smiled. "Nah. It was no problem. " Alexander then patted Amber's head. I heard Leo give a low growl. "Just show us into our rooms please. " He nurtured quietly. "This way please. " He held the door for everyone except Leo, who was hit in the face by the door. "Oops. Sorry dude. " Alex falsely apologized. He opened the door again just to show Amber he was being kind. Leo began muttering curse words. "For safety measures, we will be posing as couples. " Amber explained. Suddenly Leo took Amber aside. "Um, are you sure you want to explain our plans to civilian?" He whisper-yelled. She simply smiled. "Did I forget to explain that he's also an agent?" She asked while scratching the back of her head. "What?!" Leo exclaimed. "Guys, meet agent Alexander. Also known as 'The Actor Without a Dream. ' " I've heard of him before. He was one of the greatest agents in the S rank. "Actually, the whole staff is part of the agency. " She said slowly. "When were you planning on tell us?!" Brittney screamed. "When you stopped trying to seduce random guys. " She replied in a bitter tone. "She tried that with me too. I guess that's your specialty?" Alexander asked. Brittney stood there, frozen. "I'll take the silence as a yes." He chuckled. "Anyways, here's the way we set it up. " Amber said. " Leo and Brittney is the first room, Alexander and I in the second and Jessica and Ryan in the third. "She winked at me. I began to blush. If you haven't noticed, I have a huge crush on Ryan, but unfortunately I don't know how he feels. He probably doesn't take me for the girlfriend type. We both glanced at each other but then turned away. "Alright. All is settled and now we meet back here at 6 so we can take you guys out for dinner. " Amber said. "Hey. How do you know this idiot?" Leo asked as he nodded his head toward Alex. "..... Well, he's my ex. When we were 13 but then he had moved here for family reasons, which also cause us to break up." She replied sadly. "Oh. I-I--"
"It's fine. Just... get settled in and then we'll take it from there. " She led us to our hall which was reserved for us and closed the door on us. I saw Leo going to apologize to her again but I stopped him. "Leave her. She has some catching up to do with an old friend. "
