Picture of Aria to the side :) :)

The weather was oddly cold for a day in March. Just as the summer turns to autumn the trees begin to lose leaves and the jumpers find their ways out of the closets.

First day back at school for second term is always weird. Some people make drastic changes like lowering weight, gaining weight or a total makeover.

Some people come back with only dyed hair, piercings or the occasional broken arm or leg.

But no one comes back if they've countlessly been in trouble with the police.

Aria's POV

"I can't believe they've even let him back into the school." Tilly said as I watched her manicured nails run through her newly dyed hair. She always has a different hair colour every term. Something about looking fresh she told me.

"He's nothing but trouble honestly look at him," Katie said her eyes quickly darting over to the two policeman watching the boy that everyone was so scared about.

Kayden Avacy.

He's the top suspect for anything bad that happens in this small town.

He's been known for starting fights ones that almost kill people.

But part of me feels sympathy for him. He's blamed for everything.

Of coarse I never admit that to anyone. And besides it's only a small fraction of me.

Like down in my foot.

I watched as Kayden stood there emotionless grabbing his stuff from his locker. The police watched him like a hawk stalking their prey.

Kayden shut his locker which cut through the eery silence as it seemed everyone was watching him.

He kept his head down and proceeded down the halls. His sandy blond hair had changed to a more quiff style now. His long eyelashes hid his dark green eyes casting shadows over his cheeks.

His defined jaw was tensed as the police nudged him into the classroom.

"Why is he back at school?" I asked pulling my attention away from Kayden.

Abby piped up straightening her back and she opened her mouth to speak. She knew all the gossip about everyone and everything.

"Apparently he was let out of juvy to come to school. His charges we're let off again from the Travis Macalroy incident. But just to make sure he doesn't fight at school he has to be checked on for at least 2 weeks" Abby spoke curling her blond hair around her middle finger.

Travis Macalroy was a boy in our grade that was said to beat up girls. Long story short Kayden bet Travis up and no one knows why.

People rumour it was over a girl or just because that was the type of person Kayden is.

"I don't see the point though everyone is scared of him," Katie said her full attention on her new perfect nails.

The bell cut through everyone's talking and we got up at the sound of people's chairs scratching along the floor.

Luckily we all had English together so I quickly picked up my bag and walked with the girls down the hall towards our class.

I turned Into the classrooms was assigned from the emptying hallway. Students had already sat down taking up the whole first and second row.

Their were three empty seats in the corner I spotted after scanning the classroom.

"Over there!" Tilly called as we scurried over to sit.

Tilly took the window, Abby took the middle and Katie took the other seat.

My mouth fell slowly agape but I picked it back up before they could notice.

Worried expressions crept onto their faces as we scanned for an empty seat.

My eyes fell upon one at the back on the other side of her room.

There was nothing wrong with that seat only that it was next to Kayden.

"Oh Aria..." Katie began as I looked back and forth between them and Kayden.

I gulped as the teacher walked in.

"Take your seats please," she said scuffing with something on her desk.

Worry starting to invade my head as I gave my friends an attempt of a calm look then slowly made my way over to my worst nightmare.

His head was kept down focussing hard on his pen that was being dropped then picked up, then dropped again, then ugh it's driving me crazy!

"Ah, hi is this seat taken," I asked nervously my hands slowly putting my books onto the desk.

Kayden looked up at me for a split second but that's all it took to see the beauty in his pitched green eyes.

Before I could notice anymore features he turned away again.

I couldn't help the disappointment pooling in me.

"No you can sit." He quietly replied looking up once again shooting me quick half hearted smile.

I put on a smile then sat down as the bell rang.
