Aria's POV

"What's it like sitting next to scary ass Kayden?" Abby asked straight after the bell rang as the class started to pile out.

My head shot over to Kayden who just stared somewhat sadly then silently stormed away.

"Abby he was right there," I whispered as I watched him walk out the door people automatically stepping out of his way.

He casts a worried sense throughout the school and wherever he goes.

It's actually kinda sad.

"Who cares?" Abby said her hair dancing around her finger.

"No one deserves to be spoken to like that," I replied and she looked away.

"Come on let's go, I'm starving!" Katie cried as she hauled us out of the room and down the sea of students.

~~~~~~
"So are guys on for the party tonight?" Tilly asked as she joined me, Katie and Abby at the table.
Me and Abby are fine now. It was only a little scuffle.
I nodded on time with the other girls answering Tilly's question.
"So who are you guys going with?" Tilly asked and my eyes widened at her sudden question.
I didn't know we had to go with someone.
"Well I'm going with Jason," Katie said as she waved to her boyfriend walking towards us.
"Well I'll wait for someone to ask me." Abby said showing her perfect white teeth.
I know she sounds a little cocky but she's right. Soon she will have a line of guys asking for her to be there date.
"Well I'm helping prepare so I don't need a date, but what about you Aria." Tilly asked and all eyes went on me.
"Ah I'll probably just go alone." I admitted twirling the straw of my water around.
"I'll find someone for you!" Abby suggested her smile reaching from ear to ear.
I have her a reassuring smile and took a sip letting the cold water run down my throat.
My eyes flickered away to see Kayden walk in.
His black jeans and white shirt with black long sleeves casted well with bad boy attire.
His quiff was actually quite tall. I never realised that before. Wait why am I thinking about his hair?
I pulled my attention away from him and back to the girls who were gossiping about Daynes new biceps or something.
~~~~~~

The loud music boomed through the house practically making the floor thump to the rhythm and beat of the music.

My curled hair was flipped over my shoulders and I slightly pulled down my dress which was sticking to my body like skin making my curves highly noticeable.

I try to ignore the watchful eyes of the boys as we enter the party house which was already filled with drunk teens and toilet rolls.

All the girls had a date so I felt kind of awkward as they all parted with their dates.

Abby did offer me one of the many boys who asked her but I said I'd rather go alone.

I was handed a red cup by someone and I just watched them walk off.

Okay probably shouldn't drink this.

I carried my cup of something miscellaneous over to the side of a dance floor that was going on.

"Why are you here by yourself?" A voice asked and I turned to see who it was.

It shocked me to see the pretty eyed boy staring back.

Holy shit he looks good. What the fuck am I on about.

"Are, yeah I am." I replied trying not to make eye contact by scanning me eyes anywhere but his.

But when he scoffed I shot my eyes to meet his.

How rude can he be.

"Well every guy who asked you must be cutting themselves deep because you said no to them," he said as he smiled leaning his head back on the wall.

"What makes you think guys asked me?" I inquired looking up from my heels.

His head turned from the wall to look at me. His green eyes struck me like lightning bolts.

I never knew his lips were that full.

"Why wouldn't they I mean look at you." He said his green lightning bolts looking me up and down nodding his head at me.

I couldn't help the blush blooming in my cheeks as I looked away smiling at his words.

He's actually quite sweet. But sweetness wears off.

"Oh, thankyou" I blushed.

I replayed his words in my mind as I swirled around the black liquid in my drink.

"Oh you don't want to drink that you don't know what it is," he said taking my cup and putting it on the table behind us.

I couldn't believe him at all. He's nothing like I've seen him like.

Although his voice only has one tone but it doesn't sound emotionless.

"Kayden!" I heard someone call and our heads shot towards the call of his name.

The 'cool' group of guys were waving at him to come over.

I saw Kayden's figure walk past me over to the other teenage boys at this party.

I quickly spotted Tilly and I made my way over to her.

I couldn't help feeling a little disappointed that he didn't say goodbye but I didn't expect him too.

"Hey Tilly," I sung smiling as I approached her.

She was alone so I'm not sure where her date was.

"Hey Aria," she said her voice chiming into the music that thumped I my ears.

I decided not to tell her about my little chat with Kayden. It wasn't anything so thought nothing of it.

"So where's you date run off to?" I asked to ease the tension forming as I watched Kayden laugh at one of the boys jokes.

"Ugh he's over there with Kayden. I don't know how but getting in trouble won't the police somehow makes all the boys want to be your friend. God and they think girls are the ones wanting to be popular," she said rolling her eyes and concentrating on her nails.

So that's how he got so popular.

But to me that just makes him a bad boy.

And I stay away from them.

But I can't help but wonder what he is like behind all the lies of the rumours people spread about him. I wonder if he knows about them? Or if he cares?
