Arias POV

Its been three days since I've been living alone. Well properly alone.

Still no one knows and I plan to keep it that way. I told my friends that I bought and apartment because dad wanted to sound time with his girlfriend.

But really he's dead. And it was partially my fault.

Kayden gave my father wallet to Jace so Jace could disable the cards and put them under my name so I got all the money he had.

The last three days I've been on alert for everything. Every time the cops get mentioned I start to shake and my stomach feels like it's being lit on fire.

I've never been more terrified in my life. Just knowing what people are capable of makes sweat drip down my forehead.

I'm now an orphan and I have to start paying for everything myself. Which isn't a big change from before but now I have to pay for electricity and hot water and rent.

I'm only 17 and I now fully run my own life.

"So when can we come to see your apartment?" Abby asked tapping her false nails on he desk in a rhythm.

I shrugged, "you guys can sleep over tonight if you want?" I suggested and they all lit up with excitement.

"I'll bring the lollies I just got payed so yay!" Tilly said throwing her arms in he air in glee.

"What time?" I asked as I giggled at Tilly's outburst.

"6:00, we'll make it a movie marathon." Katie added as my eyes flickered over to the door.

Everything seemed to stop as Kayden and his 'gang', you could say, walked in the cafeteria.

I watched as Kayden's eyes scanned the room in a frown until his eyes met mine causing eruptions in my stomach.

I found myself smiling as I looked down then back up at him pushing my hair away from my face.

A smug smile crept onto his face and he winked at me before heading out the doors of the cafeteria to outside eating areas.

I've seen him and a couple of boys from his group just go out to smoke and stuff but that's only a few times. Other times he's been hooking up with mindless girls who have their skirt halfway up their ass.

Seeming as Kayden and I are more like friends with benefits I guess he could hook up with anyone really. I didn't really expect him to stop his player ways anyway.

I just told my friends that Kayden and I are more friends then anything else but they don't know what to think really.

The bell rang for next period and I said goodbye to my friends and headed off to one of my knock off subjects. Art.

I do love art I'm just not very good at it. At all.

I made my way down the nearly empty hall until a heard my name being called by a familiar someone.

I turned around on my heels to see Kayden's beautiful face as he jogged up to me smiling.

"Let's ditch class," he said as he got to my taking my hands in his warm ones.

"What?" I asked surprised as he started to walk backwards.

"I have to show you something," he said and I thought about his offer for a little bit.

Skipping one class couldn't hurt...

I sighed as he smiled even bigger and we walked out to his car.
