Arias POV

The holidays finally rolled around and I was ecstatic.

I just got all my stuff from the shops and Kayden wanted me to come over. Typical.

I didn't deny because I only got a heap of stuff from IKEA for the apartment.

Since I didn't know how to drive yet I took the bus like usual and it dropped me pretty much outside of his house.

I'd been here before but me being me I had to ask again for the address.

I walked up to the door and nervously knocked and took a step back taking in the massive mansion like house.

Rich boy.

I took a deep breath before the door was hauled open and a beautiful middle aged lady stood at the door.

"Oh hello are you looking for Kayden?" She asked who I remembered as Alice from the first time we met.

I nodded and she politely let me in with a smile.

"He should be in his room. He always is," Alice said with a sigh but then her eyes caught mine and her facial expression changed.

"Wait haven't I seen you before?" She asked stepping closer and taking my forearm as she studied my facial features.

"Oh my gosh! Did he invite you here?" Alice asked her smile was from one to ear to the other.

I nodded again actually quite confused with the situation.

"Mum. What are you doing?" I heard Kayden's voice say and both our heads shot over to a confused looking face.

"Oh sorry darling. I'm just, she's... Never mind," Alice said before she hurried back off into a room.

I watched her scurry off almost as if she was afraid of Kayden.

A sudden tingle on my waist startled me as I jumped lightly but relaxed when I realised it was Kayden.

His arms snaked around my waist and pressed my back to his warm chest.

His hands settled on my hips as he kissed my neck hello.

"Why'd you say that to your mother?" I asked and Kayden grunted into my neck.

"They're just not used to a girl being here more than once." He said as he rested his head on my shoulder.

"Why don't you tell them you're changing?"

There was silence for a few seconds as I waited for him to reply.

"I think you should stay the night," Kayden said blowing into my neck lightly sending shivers through my body.

How could I refuse.

"Ok," I said glancing at the clock on the wall which read 6:00pm.

Kayden lead me up the stairs to his bedroom before shutting the door behind him.

"Someone said something to me today Aria," Kayden said as he played with the back of my shirt once he wound his arms around me.

I waited for him to continue.

"They said they though they knew who killed William," Kayden said and I gasped suddenly gripping his strong, flexed biceps.

"What did you do," I asked looking back as we hit the bed.

Kayden didn't say anything as he started to kiss my neck leaving little trails of fire.

My hands went up to the back of his neck and I pulled him down on top of me.

"I thought these holidays would be Dad drama free. Obviously not." I sighed as he rested his weight on his forearms so he didn't crush me.

Kayden stopped kissing me and pulled up his head to look at me with those beautiful green orbs.

He was serious.

"If you want it to be William drama free we can have it like that. Why don't we leave town for a few days. My parents have a beach shack down near the coast we can fuck off to there for a bit,"

I laughed at his words but my heart fluttered at the idea.

A knock on the door caused me to jump but Kayden to quickly relax my harsh reaction to the knock on the door.

I guess I'll always be on edge and jumpy. Kayden seems to make that all disappear.

"Who is it?" Kayden called.

"It's your mom, um, dinners ready," I heard his moms say through the door.

"Don't say you're not hungry because you need to eat," Kayden said before pulling me up from the bed and out the door.

I walked out Kayden's hand firmly holding mine as he pulled the seat out for me to sit down before he sat down next to me pulling my chair closer to him.

I heard his mom and dad gasp as they saw me at the table and lightly whisper to each other which made me feel weird so I just looked down as Alice placed a dish of roast beef and veggies in front of me.

I said a polite thank you giving her a warm smile which she returned. She's always smiling.

"We can take this back to my room if you want," Kayden whispered.

I shivered at the touch of his hot breath on my neck and ear.

"No it's ok," I replied as Alice and Dave sat down opposite me and Kayden.

"So your name is Aria right?" Alice asked after what seemed like a lifetime of silence.

I sat up straighter,

"yes,"

"This isn't an interview," Kayden stated his jaw tensing.

I squeezed his hand trying to calm him down and his eye colour lightened.

"Kayden, don't act like this isn't your typical behaviour. For once in your life you have a beautiful girl here at the table with your parents. Be proud that you're changing your ways," Dave spoke up and I just had to jump which caused Kayden to tense up again.

Stupid reflexes. Why am I so jumpy?

Kayden's chair was squeaked along the floor before he pulled my up and up the stairs to his room.

He locked the door before throwing everything off his desk in an angry state.

"Woah, Kayden calm down," I said dashing over to him holding his face with my hands watching his eyes come back to the beautiful forest green I have fallen in love with.

"You don't have to apologise for anything Kayden. You haven't done anything wrong stop beating yourself up for nothing." I said taking him in a hug as his arms wound around my waist protectively.

"Come on let's watch a movie," I said as I led him to the bed and let him lie down before I went to the cabinet under the TV to check out his movies.

"Kayden all you have is horror," I laughed and I heard him grunt in a 'eh' kind of way.

"Well I guess we're watching paranormal activity," I said choosing the least scary movie of them all.

I'm not at all a big fan of horror movies. I watched one at Tilly's once and I didn't sleep for three days I was that scared.

"That's not even scary," he finally said something and a involuntary sigh of relief escaped my lips.

"That's the point,"

I put the movie in and switched off the lights before taking two steps to dive into the bed my conscious getting the better of me.

"You're scared," he said and I hid my face in embarrassment as I got under the blankets snuggling into his chest his arm going around my body.

"It's ok baby, I'm here,"
