Chapter 4: Shot???

Karas POV

When jack said the police were in their way I froze. "shit." I mumbled. I run out the door only to find 2 police at the front door. Damn! I run to the back but I grab my gun from my purse so I can get away.

When u get to the door I see jack and Daniel standing there. "Move." I said angry. They stayed put. "MOVE!"

I shove them out of the way or at least attempt to. Jack grabs my right hand which he figured was my dominate hand but I was ambidextrous. I grabbed the hun out of my right hand and shot at jack. For good mesure i stomped on his wound and ribs and his legs. He let go of me and I ran out the door. Luckily I ran into the woods before the cops came.

Jack's POV

She had a gun but I didn't care I just wanted Daniel safe so I shoved him out of the way. I grabbed her right hand thinking it was dominate but I thought wrong because she grabbed the gun forcefully and shot me. I didn't feel it at first but then I felt the worst pain you could imagine in my stomach.

Kara ran out the door and ran into the woods Daniel ran back in the room with Zach and the police. Daniel screamed and Zach went wide eyed. My vision went blurry but before it blacked I felt 2 strong arms pick me up bridal style. "I love you so much" I hear. " I lo-" blackness

Daniels POV

I here a gun shot and a door. No. No she didn't. I grab Zach and the police follow us. You might wonder why I brought Zach, well I knew he would comfort me in the right way but not freak out to much. Corbyn would be too calm and Jonah was on the other side of the room.

We ran across the house and I get to the back door. Blood. Lots of blood. I see a wound on his stomach. No. I literally scream so loud my vocals will probably be damaged tommarrow. I wrap my arms around him and everything goes blurry except his beautiful face. I pick his up bridal style. "I love you." I whisper in his ear. " I lo-" then his eyes shut. I knew he was still alive because I could feel his warm breath on my arm.

I carry him out to the ambulance when Corbyn and Jonah follow us asking what happened. " shot ... kara" is all I could manage before breaking out into tears.

I hear Zach. "We ran across the house and near the back door we saw jack with a shot wound in the stomach and it looks like she kicked him in the ribs or legs. But I'm not sure why. Corbyn?" He asked at the end. I look up. Corbyn looks at me confirming that he can tell the whole story. I nod slightly.

" Jonah last week when you asked me to get Daniel from his room I walked up there but saw Daniel crying and face timing Christina. I asked what happens and she told me it was because of a crush. I wondered why he was crying so hard because of a crush until she answered my unasked question. He is in love with jack. " He says taking a break. I bury my head in my knees.

" Oh wow " I hear them say. Jonah comes over to comfort me. " Hey Daniel its ok. Zach and I accept you."

( A/N I have nothing against Zach btw I just needed one of them)
I smile and look up to see Jonah smiling at me. I look over at Zach as he starts talking. "Uh maybe Jonah accepts you but I don't. Gays are nasty and don't deserve to live. Tell me one popular boy band where they are gay?" He responds disgusted. Corbyn stands there with his mouth hanging open his eyes turning darker because of anger. Jonah walks over and slaps Zach.

I walk over and tell corbyn, Jonah and Zach to go to the hospital and I will leave in a second. I watch as they all get in the car. Jonah and Corbyn glaring at Zach the whole time. As they pull away I take zachs words to thought. There really hasn't been a boy band with a gay member ( A/N there may have but idk) One direction, 5 sos and all the other ones.

I decide I'm going to go visit jack but after that I'm quiting the band. I'm a burden to jack, he got shot for me, Zach told me flat out how he feels about me. And Jonah and Corbyn are fine but I feel like a burden to them too.

I call an uber. I tell her to drive to ************ hostpital. " what's wrong honey?" The lady asked.
"My uh boyfriend got shot." I mumbled expecting rejection.

" I would almost die if my wife got hurt like that." She says.

Wait. Wife? She's gay also!?

"Wife?" I ask. " Yes of course." She laughs as we pull up.

I reach for my wallet but she interrupts me. " No charge sweety" I smile thankfully and run into the hospital. I spot Corbyn, Jonah, and Zach in the waiting room. Corbyn stands up and gives me a hug and Jonah joins. I see Zach glaring at me but I ignore it. I pull away and go up to the front desk.

"I'm here for Jack Avery." I tell the lady.

"I'm sorry he's-"
