Chapter 9: Not Them

Jonah's POV

They couldn't. They wouldnt.

It was Logan and Jake.

"Why?" Jack sputtered out. Everyone's eyes wide with shock. "Why you and Jake? I thought you were our friend."

"Because your gay." Jake said with a laugh. Logan looked down. I knew he didn't want to hurt us. I wondered why he did it. "So? Why do you care enough to hurt us. We never did anything to you." Daniel says to Jake.

"Gay is nasty and y'all are fake. You just want to do it for attention." He replies. My blood was boiling. Logan looked close to crying. I knew he didn't want to do this. I knew it. I know when he doesn't mean something he gets a certain look in his eye.

"Hey can I talk to Logan alone?" I ask the officer. "Yes, are you sure?" She asks. "Yeah" him and I walk to my room and I slam the door. He flinches. That's when I know something's up. "Logan why would you do that to us? You said you supported gays!" I whisper yelled.  He looked down "I do support gays. Jake forced me to because he hates the whole LGBTQ+ community. He threatened Aylas life Jonah." He says sternly. "Believe me I wasn't going to hurt you I was going to put on an act till one of you guys called 911. There was no way I could hurt you guys. I would go to jail for a longtime but it was better than having ayla hurt. She is my best friend. And Jake would be there too so I wouldnt have to worry about that. "

I was taken aback. I get Jake not supporting lgbtq+ but I can't believe he would threaten his own brother. "Im dropping charges against you but not agents him. It was Jake who did that to corbyn right?" I ask.

He nods and my blood boils. I knew Logan wouldnt do that. I walk down stairs to see Daniel have a black eye and jack with a bruised cheek. I turn to Jake who smirks. I walk up to him and slap him. "You will never mess with us ever again. Officer I am dropping charges against Logan.  Jake though I am pressing charges. I also plan to bail Logan out." I say confinatley. The other boys stare at me with a crazy look on their face. Th officers nod and take Jake out.

Jack walks up to Logan and starts hitting him. "No no no jack don't!" I yell. He pulls away looking at me like I was crazy.  I explain to them and they nod. Except Zach.
"How do we know he isn't lying and plan to do this again." He says glaring at Logan. "Because. I know when some one lies and as soon as they took Logan's mask off he looked sorry and I knew he didn't do anything. " They all nodded. "Guys I'm sorry. I just-" Corbyn cut him off. "Logan we know you have a crush on Ayla. I understand why you did this. You never hurt anyone. Jack told us that you wernt going to let Jake hurt us. And when Jake knocked me out I know it wasnt part of the plan. He said 'well this is a surprise guess I'm changing the plan' I didn't know what that ment till now." Logan thank you. If you hadn't yelled in the drive waywe all could be hurt. And I'm sorry you brother was arrested." Corbyn says hugging him at the end.

"Thanks Corbyn. And if Jake acts like that and has that opinion on a person being who they are then he isn't my brother. He is a relation that's it. My mom and dad are both going to be mad.
