Chapter 5: Kidnapped

Daniels POV

"I'm here to see Jack Avery."

"I'm Sorry he's not allowed visitors unless your family."

"What about partner?" I ask nervously.

"Yes of course, is his girlfriend or wife here?" She asks looking around.

I take a deep breath "I'm his boyfriend" I mutter. I look up and see her look at me with disgust. "Room 458"

I thank her and run upstairs and turn right. I look around and see pregnancy rooms. Uh oh. I see a doctor turn the corner. Thank God. I run up to her."Hey I'm i got lost and I was wondering if you could show me to my *gulp* boy friends room."

She genuinely smiles. "Of course what's his name?" "Jack Avery"

She laughs "Oh that's the patient I'm heading to! You can walk with me." I smile in response.

Time skip to after the walk

I see jack when she opens the door. Oh god he looks terrible. As the door shuts I watch his eyes open. His beautiful brown eyes that I first fell in love with. They are like a giant teddy bear and make you feel giddy and warm when you stare into them. "Daniel? Daniel???" I hear jack asking.

"Sorry I zoned out." I respond smiling.
"So how are you feeling?" I ask realizing why he's in the hospital.

" I'm fine Daniel really I'm ok. Oh and  So what's wrong with me?" He asks the doctor.

"You have a bullet wound that isn't that bad, you have a broken rib, your leg is broken, and a fractured elbow."
She reads off of his form.

"Ok, if that's it." Jack replies sarcastically.

I laugh lightly.

"Also what's your name?" I ask the doctor.

"Doctor Bresulee but you can call me Kara." She responds smiling.

I see jack flinch out of the corner of my eye. "What's wrong?" She asks Jack.

"Well you see,  Kara,  the girl who did this to him had the same name as you." I say scratching the back of my neck.

"Oh my I'm so sorry i didn't know." She rushes. "No no your fine." Jack replies smiling.

"VISITING HOURS ARE OBER YOU MAY RETURN TOMMARROW AT 5:30 AM THANK YOU." The annocements announce. (😂😂😂)

I kiss jack on the check and hug him lightly. "I will see you tommarrow." I whisper in his ear as I walk out of the room but I make sure to thank kara on the way out.

I see the boys on their phone and Zach looking sorry. I walk over about to say hi when someone grabs me. I scream butsome one covers my mouth so it's muffled. Jonah and Corbyn don't hear me but Zach looks up. His eyes widen as he sees me. He jumps up and Jonah and corbyn look up after him. They soon run over to me.

I'm being pulled away.  I'm blindfolded. I kick behind me and the person kicks back and kicks my arm. I hear a woman whisper "nobody gotta know" before I black out from the pain in my arm. But I feel a pair of and grab me and I finally black out.

Jack's POV

About 5 minutes After Daniel leaves I hear a scream. But it didn't sound like a random person. It was Daniel.

I imediatley worry and call Kara in. She tells me that she got news of a 18 year old boy also under her care now. She runs into the next room.

When she returns she has a solemn look on her face. I knew right then that Daniel was in the room next to us. "Let me see him"

"Huh?" She says looking up. I say what I said a little louder "I have to see him."

She looks around the room. I know that its against the rules but I have to. She puts me in a wheelchair and pushes me to the next room.

Time skip till morning

I wake up and look at the clock. 4:59. I use my good arm and look through instagram. At exactly 5:01 Corbyn Jonah and Zach burst into the room. They all hug me and I tell them I'm fine. Jonah and Corbyn sit down. Zach stays by my side.

He leans down and whispers in my ear. I'm sorry for what I did to Daniel. No I didn't hurt him physically but I may have hurt him way worse mentally."

I grow angry but I try not to show it because Zach looks truly sorry. "Zach, go check on Daniel. Just you. If you don't want to do it, do it for me." He nods and walks out of the room.

Corbyn comes up to me and apologizes for not being home sooner. "I'm sorry that-" I interrupt him. "Corbyn stop. this wasn't anyone's fault except for mine. If I hadn't tried to fight back against Kara I would not be here right now. And neither would Daniel because he would not be at the hospital."
