I woke up the next morning with my head on something hard. I looked up to see Will's sleeping face when the memories come flooding back of the previous night. I was freezing and Will helped by basically sharing his body warmth. I tried to get up but his arms instantly tightened around my waist. I chuckled "Will, we kind of have to get up." He groaned in response and slowly opened his eyes. When he realised the position we were in he let go so fast that he rolled off the side of the bed causing me to laugh harder then ever. He just looked at me with a confused smile on his face a he too chuckled. It wasn't long until a loud bang came from the other side of the door.

"Look, I don't want to know what your doing in there but firstly hands off my sister and secondly get up, Gibbs found us a crew." It was Jack. I waited until I heard his footsteps fade before I burst into another fit of laughter and got out of bed to help Will up, momentarily forgetting my lack of clothing. I blushed slightly as I realised and went through my bag, pulling out a back coat with many big pockets, a shirt that was baggy enough to let me move but not too big that it looked ridiculous. I then pulled out some leggings and a corset. With my leggings on I started to tie my corset but with it being new I found it more difficult than normal.

"Here." Will came up behind me and took the laces from my hands. I moved my hair over my shoulder as he pulled the lace to the perfect size and proceeded to tie it so it wouldn't loosen throughout the day.

"Thank you." I turned and realised how close we were. I could feel his hot breath fan my face, I could see the richness of his eyes. One movement from either of us and we'd be kissing. We stood like that for a minute, neither one of us quite sure what to do until I cleared my throat. "We should get going. They'll be waiting for us." Will cleared his throat and nodded, handing me my my bag of clothes before walking out the door.

"Feast your eyes Captain," Gibbs began, "All of them, faithful hands before the mast, every man worth his salt." As we walked we noticed a particularly small man with a bald head and a small plaited beard. "And crazy to the boot." He finished.

"So this is your able-bodied crew?" Will questioned.

"Have a little faith." I said even though I had my doubts. Sadly, Will could see through my facade and raised his eyebrows. I shook my head in response. We walked along some more until we saw a man with a parrot on his shoulder.

"You sailer." Jack said in a commanding voice.

"Cotten sir." Gibbs told him.

"Mr Cotten, do you have the courage and fortitude to follow orders and stay true in the face of danger and almost certain death?" He asked him. "Mr Cotten, answer man."

"He's a mute sir. Poor devil had his tongue cut out, so he trained the parrot to talk for him. No one's yet figured how." Gibbs responded and the man opened his mouth to show his missing tongue and I turned and buried my head into Will's shirt sleeve.

"Mr Cotten's parrot, same question."

"Wind in your sails! Wind in your sails!" it spoke.

"Mostly we figured that means yes." Gibbs nodded to Jack.

"Well of course it does. Satisfied?" He asked Will and possibly myself. Depends if he could sense my doubt.

"Well you've proved that their mad." Will agreed when a female voice stopped us in our tracks.

"What's the benefit for us?" We walked further along to see a 'sailor' with a very large hat that Jack removed letting her raven locks fall to her shoulders.

"Anna-Maria!" Jack exclaimed before getting smacked around the face much like the previous night.

"I suppose you didn't deserve that?!" Will mocked.

"No that one I deserved." He admitted and turned to face her once more.

"You stole my boat!" She yelled.

"Actually-" he was cut off by another slap to the face.

"I love this woman." I muttered with a smile on my face and I think Will heard as he turned to me with a smile trying not to let out any form of laughter.

"Borrowed! Borrowed without permission, but with every intention of bringing it back." Jack tried to argue.

"But you didn't!" She yelled again.

"You'll get another one." Jack said in a high pitch voice clearly afraid of this angry woman. Well, angry was putting it mildly.

"I will." She said pointing her finger in Jack's face.

"A better one." Will piped in.

"A better one." Jack agreed.

"That one." I looked over to the Interceptor.

"What one?" Jack asked and I pointed to the ship already out at see. "THAT ONE?!" Jack asked incredulously. "Aye that one. What say you?" He called to the crew.

"AYE!" They all called out and began to load the boats. Anna-Maria grabbed her hat placing it back on her head and walked off. I followed and put my arm around her shoulder.

"So my dear, how have you been since we last spoke." I smiled. She looked at me and smiled, wrapping her arm around me similarly. We gossiped as we boarded the ship and then went our separate ways to complete our tasks.

That night there was an awful storm and I was on deck helping Will as he had not much experience. The waves were smashing onto the deck and almost pushed me to the other side of the ship if Will had not caught me. It sounds cliche but when he caught my hand something coarsed through me, like a shot of adrenaline.

"How can we sail to an island that nobody can find, with a compass that doesn't work?" Will shouted over the pounding rain.

"The compass doesn't point north, but we're not trying to find north are we." I answered. I looked over my shoulder to see Gibbs stumbling his way to the helm to speak to Jack.

"We should drop canvas, sir." He suggested.

"She can hold a bit longer." Jack persisted.

"What's in your head as puts you in such a fine mood, Cap'n?" Gibbs asked unsure that Jack actually knew what he was doing.

"We're catching up." I looked up to see him smirking and my heart began to pound again.
