Oh Baby...

Shadow has been non-stop texting me. He constantly asks if I'm okay, asking if I can talk to him. It's been a few weeks, all he does is continuously stare at me and wish I would come over by him. He's too afraid to go over to me by himself.

That's his problem. I don't care about him at the moment, he ruined my rep!

Every time I think about him, I feel the urge to throw up. My breasts (tmi) are heavier than usual, they're bigger too. Whenever someone tries to talk to me I constantly lash out on them or start to cry... I'm like bipolar now. I've been visiting the bathroom more than ever now...

I need to visit a doctor ASAP. I might have a weird stomach flu or disease... Or am I just PMSing?

Well, PMSing without my actual period. I get abnormal periods regardless so that don't matter.

I skipped school today because my gut has been killing me, I can't take it.

I call the hospital, and surprisingly a familiar voice responds.

"Hello, this is Dr. Dale talking."

"Erhm... Hey, this is Amy Rose. Remember me? The girl that knocked my head pretty hard?"

I can feel his smile through the phone.

"Ah, yes. How is your head doing?"

I shrug and respond, "It's okay, but... I've been getting weird symptoms of a weird disease. I keep throwing up, my gut constantly hurts and feels like it's squeezing itself, I've become bipolar more than ever before..."

Silence is returned to me through the reciever.

"Hello?" I ask.

"Yes I'm still here. Huh, you may have a weird stomach bug... or.. have your.. well, excuse if the question sounds weird, but I must ask. Have you gotten your period, and are your breasts a bit more tender than usual?"

I shrug again.  "Yeah, I guess so. I'm like PMSing without my period."

"Huh.."

"Yeah... Can I make an appointment for today?"

"Of course Amy. What time?"

"In possibly the next 20 minutes?"

I hear him scuffling paper around on the other end.

"Ah yes, I'll give you a check up if that's okay?"

I chuckle. "Of course, you're a cool doc."

"Ah..  thanks haha. I'll be checking your stomach with an ultrasound, if that's alright with you."

I pause. What reason would I need that for? Whatever okay.

"Uh.. sure, yeah. Whatever needs to be done."

We say our goodbyes and I hang up the phone. This must be pretty serious...

After taking a long drive to the hospital, I finally reach the front door. I smile and wave to the lady at the front desk, she gives me a warm smile and wave back. I turn the corner and out of nowhere, I bump into a big fluff of red. I yelp and step back, looking up at him.

"Oh, my apologies Ms. Rose!"

I laugh and shrug. "Ah it's nothing, didn't expect to see you down here Dr. Dale."

He smiles and puts his hand on my shoulder. "Sweetie, I'm all over this darn building. Anyways, are you ready for the ultrasound?"

"Does it include needles?"

He gives a hearty laugh and looks back down at me. "Of course not! Come on, it's this way."

I follow him down the lengthy hallway. He leads me into a dark room where a blue screen illuminates the rest of the room. He closes the door and motions for me to lay on the bed. I do so and groan.

"I must ask Ms. Rose," he looks at me, sitting down in a chair beside the bed, "have you been sexually active lately?"

I blush bright red and look at him. "Well... yes, but it's been about 5 weeks since that last happened."

He nods and grabs some weird gel.

"This may sound weird, but could you lift your shirt up a little? I have to place this on your stomach."

I nod and lift it up a little, giggling as he rubs the cold jelly onto my stomach. He chuckles and places a weird thing over my stomach, which I guess scans the inside of my stomach.

I look at him and notice him staring at the screen in confusion. He doesn't say anything, he just observes. He looks down at me and blushes a little.

"You don't have a stomach bug, just letting you know right now. I know I may be getting too personal, but if you want to know what you really have..." He walks to a desk, taking something out of a drawer. He walks over to me and hands me a stick thing in a bag. "Go to the bathroom and pee on this. That's as bluntly as I can say it."

I burst out with laughter, thinking he's joking. I look at him and his ears flick a little, looking at me oddly.

"Oh, no I'm serious. Please do this, you're a young lady and this is important to know. It's a pregnancy test, if there is one line you aren't pregnant. If there are two lines, you're...you know.."

Oh no. Shadow. What have you done?...

I feel the blood draining from my face. I nod and grab the test.

"Bathrooms are down the hall to the left..."

I walk out and shiver. I best not be pregnant.

After a few minutes, I finish with my business and stare at the test. It reads "wait 15 minutes"...

Welp. Gotta wait 15 minutes.

I walk out of the bathroom and sigh. I go back to the ultrasound room, all the lights are on. Dr. Dale looks at me and gives me a warm smile. I halfheartedly smile and sit on the bed.

"Just letting you know, we can keep this information a secret for now if... you know. Plenty of other girls have been in this situation before and it's a lot to take in."

I nod and sigh. I lay down and wait for my response.

After a few more minutes, I glance at it again. I see two lines form in the square. I damn near about faint.

I sit up quickly and stare at it.

"What's the matter?"

I look at him and begin to tear up.

"I'm pregnant."
