I finish my math homework and I close my math book, a little louder than I anticipated. I shiver it back into my book bag and zip it up. Gosh, I really need to clean out my back pack. Oh well...

I check the time and I grab a sweatshirt, slipping right through it. My blue skirt doesn't match too well with my pink sweatshirt, but who cares? I grab my phone and slide me hands into my hoodie's pockets, walking out the door.

I soon arrive at Cedar Park to meet with Shadow. I walk down the gravel, my foot steps making crunches into the earth. The trees are pretty tall at this park, the spells of wild life surrounding me. I can easily smell a pine tree, the scent is glorious. I walk to the actual 'park' area, noticing Shadow sitting on a swing. I smile brightly when he notices me walking towards him and he gives me the usual smirk.

"Well hello, Rose," He glides his shoes along the sand beneath his feet that surrounds the swings, glancing somewhere below my abdomen

"Hi," I giggle quietly as I sit on the swing, swinging myself a little bit.

"So, what did ya wanna talk about?" I look at him, realizing he's already looking at me.

"Well, about that faker... Is he friendly with you or rude?" He questions. I tilt my head a little as I grip the chains that hold the swings.

"He was nice," I quickly respond, not knowing why Shadow is now so friendly towards me instead of the ass he was when I was a freshman and sophomore.

"Oh? No bad things to injure your friendly relationship?" He looked at me in the eyes.

"Not really, although he's always cocky towards everyone, so it doesn't really matter... Why do you ask?" I watch as he takes a deep breath, looking down at his sweatshirt, watching the lungs push in and out. He opens his mouth to say something, but stops and thinks, saying something else.

"I just wanted to know, that's all," I notice the nervousness in his smile. I can tell he's faking it and that he was about to say something else. Why'd he change the answer?

"Alright..." I sigh as I swing back and forth, feeling the cool air rush into my face.

I realize that he's staring at me again. Oh gosh this feels creepy and awkward! I gotta ask him, this is just weird.

"Hey, um Shadow..." I say as I look at him.

"Yes?" He questions, continuing to look at me.

"Why do you stare at me like that?" I ask, letting the sentence go straight out at him.

"I don't stare at you, I drink in how cute you look with my eyes, that's all I really do," He chuckles.

I can't believe it. He honestly would say something like that? But... He's so much different than that...

"Oh, makes sense I guess..." I sigh, turning away and I bite my bottom lip hard

About thirty minutes pass by of uncontrollable laughter and a wonderful conversation from Shadow and Amy.

"Hey, Rose, I wanna show you something," He gets off of the swing and stands up, lending his hand to me.

I instinctively grip his palm gently as I get off the swing, following him.

"Okay, we're here," He sits on a log, a spot in the park that is a well hidden secret, which is probably where he hangs out every day.

I sit next to him, looking around.

"Must be nice with this privacy, eh?" I giggle at him, looking at the rays of the orange sun that peak through the leafs, making it look pretty.

"By the way..." He gently turns my head to him.

"Have you ever gotten a first kiss?" He asks, acting like it was totally normal to ask.

"N-no..." I blush a bright red, looking at his red eyes.

"Well then, would you like to be my first kiss, Rosy?" He questions so suddenly.

What?! A first kiss from shadow? I've gotta be dreaming right now, he'd never ask that! But, somehow my body wants to try a kiss from his pale lips.

"Erm... Okay..." I start, surprised I even said that "Just don't go too far with it, okay?" I look at him, a smirk creeping up my cheeks.

He nods, and then slowly but surely...

He pulls me onto his lap and kisses my lips, sending a jolt down my spine. His lips are so soft and warm, I want to kiss them more.
