(Sorry I haven't been active, but here's the next chapter! ^~^)

I give Shadow a last smirk as I sit up straight, wiping my mouth.

"I never knew I'd ever be able to do that..." I say with crimson cheeks.

"I never knew that either," he pants, still with that smirk on his face. He sits up and wraps his arms around me, pulling me closer with a gentle tug. His lips attach to mine, my blush slowly fading away. I close my eyes and give in, kissing him back. Why am I doing this?

I run through the crowded school hall, still tired from staying up all night thinking about what had happened. I arrive at my locker after slipping through the taller boys and girls. I turn over the lock, using my combination. The person next to me gives me a small smirk, the type of smirk you don't wanna see.

"So, you and Shadow were kissing in the park, Huh?" He says, closing his locker door as he leans against it.

"W-what?... No! Of course not, I like Sonic, and I'd never kiss Shadow!" My cheeks burn red, glaring at him.

"You're such a bad liar. You know, there's a girl that spreads rumors, a lot of other people spread rumors also..." He pulls out a picture, and I snatch it away from him and look closely at it. I gasp, realizing that the picture was of Shadow and I, both of us on the swings, kissing.

"Y-yeah? So what if we were-" the bell rings before I can finish my sentence, and I glare at the boy next to me and I quickly grab my books and slam the locker door shut.

"Sonic knows about this, too," he sighs, looking at the floor. "Well, see ya later I guess, sorry for making you mad, but I had to tell you what was going on," and before I could say anything, he darts off to class. I lock my locker up, slowly walking off to class, knowing Sonic will be in that class. God, why did I do that with Shadow? I never intended to do that, I never wanted that, I just had my heart broken yesterday, and that's what Shadow gives me? A make out, and then sexual stuff? I swear, if I ended up giving my virginity away that quickly, I'd kill myself for it.

As I arrive to the classroom, a few eyes are on me, even Sonic's eyes are on me. I stare at the floor, careful to not look up as I walk over to my desk.

"Ms. Rose, why are you late to class today?" the teacher taps his pencil against his desk, organizing papers for the day. I walk up to the desk and I slightly lift my head up, shyly looking at him.

"I'm sorry, some dude kept talking to me and we lost track of time, he was telling me something very important that I cannot say." And before he could answer, I walk over to my desk and slam my books on my desk and sit in the chair, letting out an angry sigh. I notice Sonic staring at me, and I make the mistake of glancing up, and our eyes make contact for a half of a second before he looks away, shaking his head.

Shadow, are you kidding me? Now everyone thinks of me as a slut. Thank you, very..very..much...

I watch the clock and the bell finally rings as it hits 7, everyone jumping out of their seats and running out of class, one kid actually just jumps over a desk, almost tripping. So many idiots...

Sonic glances at me once again, but I don't look at him at all. I stare at the floor, walking out of class. Oh, great, now the next class won't have Sonic, but it'll have Shadow and Scourge included. Oh. Great. Yippee.

I sigh and bite my bottom lip hard, wanting the school day to end already, even though it's still morning and this is 2nd period, a good 'ol whopping 78 minutes of our time wasted in this art class.

I once again, walk slowly into the classroom, the smell of paint and orange scented floor cleaner around me. I continue to look down at the floor as I sit at a table, Scourge across from me, but Shadow in a different area.

"Hmm, so you and Shadow made out with each other last night? You don't have to lie, almost the whole 10th grade knows about it, so you better speak up," he whispers, a smirk on his face as he lifts up his glasses so they're on his forehead.

"I'm not-" before I could finish the sentence, the teacher interrupts me. I roll my eyes at Scourge and I look up, looking at the teacher.

"Okay class, today we'll be learning how to mold and form certain things out of clay. This will be a 5 day project, it'll take a whole week to do, and this art project will be 60% of your grade for the quarter, and since this quarter is ending so quickly, you only have a little time to get your grade up, and also, I will be having assigned partners. I didn't choose randomly, I chose people to be with people similar to each other, depending on their art skills." she writes a couple things on the board, explains what to do, but I barely notice as I lay my head on the table, tired out.

"Hey, Ames," I hear a familiar voice and I open one eye, looking up at the clock and realize its already been 34 minutes in of class and the classmates are already getting their clay from the teacher.

"Ms. Howard assigned us to be partners," he smirks down at me as I look up at the ebony hedgehog.

"Ugh... Why..." I groan and stand up, stretching with droopy eyes.

"How am I supposed to know? Hmm, maybe it's because we do art the best with each other?" He chuckles as he walks over to a station, his clay already there. I sigh and walk over to him. He better not have any dirty tricks up his sleeve, that's all I gotta say.
