Chapter 7

"Oh my God" Smackle gasped "Riley and Lucas are planning on moving?"

"That can't be happening-" Maya said "They just moved in together, they gotta stay for at least one more year."

Just then Lucas came out from his room.

"Okay that took longer than I thought" he sighed "Riley sure loves cuddles."

"Lucas-" Maya said as she held up the pamphlet "Are you and Riley planning on moving?"

"Uh..." his eyes widen as he tried to hide his guilt "Moving?"

"Oh my God so it is true!" she gasped.

"Okay-" he sighed "It's true, but that's not gonna happen anytime soon."

"What do you mean?"

"We're thinking about moving a year after we get our babies, so we got time."

"I knew it!" she exclaimed with a smile "I knew you guys weren't that stupid to move right after you get your babies, I mean you guys just moved in together, it's too early to be moving anywhere else."

"So you guys don't have to worry about us moving" Lucas assured "That's gonna be a later time."

"Do you know where you guys are planning on moving?" Josh asked.

"Not yet, we're hoping to find a house here in New York, and if that doesn't work, then our Plan B is to find a house in Texas."

"Oo you guys are gonna be a cowboy family now huh?" Maya grinned "Are you thinking about getting a ranch or what?"

"Once again, we don't know yet, we got a year to plan it out."

"Lucas!" they suddenly heard Riley call.

"Oh boy" Lucas sighed as he headed into his room.

"I can't believe this-" Maya sighed "Soon Riley and Lucas are gonna have their babies, and then they're gonna be moving. It's so hard to believe that we've all been together for most of our lives, and now we're about to go our separate ways."

"Well that's the way life works" Farkle put in.

Just then Lucas came out from his room with a sigh.

"Riley wants me to get a unicorn frappuccino from Starbucks" he sighed.

"Unicorn frappuccino?" Maya said a bit disgusted "Those things are gross."

"Well apparently she's in the mood for anything unicorn flavored, and the frappuccino was the first thing that came to her head."

"You know it's gonna be kinda weird to see a guy like you buying unicorn frappuccino from Starbucks" Zay said with a small chuckle.

"You're right" Lucas agreed "Do any of you girls wanna come with me?"

"I will" Smackle offered "And if anybody ask, tell them that we're using the frappucinno for an experiment. I always tell people that whenever I wanna cover up for something embarrassing that I'm buying."

"It's true" Farkle agreed "And it always works. One time when we were all still in high school, Smackle told the cashier that we were buying condoms for an experiment, and he believed it."

"That's because we were using condoms for an experiment" Smackle put in.

"Oh right..." he said remembering "But as you can see, it works."

"What kind of experiment were you guys working on?" Josh asked with a wondering look.

"It's hard to explain."

Pretty soon, 4 more months have passed, and Riley's stomach has gotten bigger as she sat on her couch watching TV surrounded by all sorts of snacks as she heard the door knock.

"Hold on!" she called with his mouth full as she pulled on a piece of rope that was tied to the door as it opened.

"Whoa" Maya said surprised while admiring Riley's trick "Why didn't I think of this before?"

"Pretty smart huh?" Riley grinned "I'm that clever."

"Wow" Maya chuckled while looking at Riley's stomach "Your stomach's huge now."

"It's the 8th month now."

"Wait, does that mean we're gonna finally find out the sex of your babies?"

"Yep" Riley smiled "I actually ordered a cake from this baby place that send you a cake that's either pink or blue on the inside so we'll be surprised."

"Finding out the sex and cake?! This may be the best day ever!"

"By the way, if it happens to get here when I'm not home, do not, and I repeat, do not, open it without me."

"Okay okay I wont" Maya assured.

Just then Lucas came out from his room.

"Okay Riles you ready to go?" he asked.

"Where you guys going?" Maya asked.

"Out for lunch."

"Then what's this?" she pointed to the foods that surrounded Riley.

"She's just finishing her breakfast. You ready Riles?"

"Yeah hold on" Riley replied as she slowly got up from the couch while holding onto her stomach "Oh Maya, if the cake gets here while we're gone, text me okay?"

"You got it" Maya smiled with a thumbs up as the couple left "I gotta find out the sex."

Later that day, the cake had arrived, and Maya and the others couldn't stop looking at it as they sat in the dining room.

"It looks so delicious" Zay said as he felt his mouth water.

"So the gender of their babies is inside that cake?" Smackle questioned.

"Pretty much" Maya replied with a sigh "But we can't cut it until they come home."

Just then the door opened as Lucas entered.

"Good you're here!" Maya exclaimed "Can we cut the cake now?!"

"Hold on" he said "Riley's not here."

"What where is she?" Maya whined.

"Apparently she had to go to work for something."

He then noticed the cake.

"No way is that the cake?" he gasped.

"No we just decided to do some baking- of course it's the cake!" Maya replied annoyed.

"You wanna do the honors?" Zay grinned as he held up the cake cutter.

"I can't" Lucas said "Riley's not here."

"But don't you wanna know?"

"She's gonna find out when she sees a cut in the cake, guys don't do this."

"He's right" Josh sighed "We gotta wait for Riles."

They all waited.

"Okay I'm not waiting any longer" Maya suddenly said as she plunged her hand into the cake.

"Maya!" everyone screamed as she pulled out a cake piece that was the color pink.

"It's a girl!" Maya gasped as she turned to Lucas "You're gonna have girl twins!"

"It's a girl?!" Lucas gasped "Oh my God!"

At that point everyone jumped up and cheered.

"Wait what's that?" Smackle suddenly pointed to a piece of paper under the cake board.

"I don't know" Maya said as she pulled it out and read it "Well this is a problem."

"What?" everyone asked.

"Turns out this cake was delivered here by mistake, it actually belongs to a Gordan and Melissa Miller."
