Chapter 6

Two more months have passed, and as Riley and Lucas left their apartment for work, Riley gave a sleepy moan as she looked at her stomach.

"It's the start of the second trimester and my stomach's already popping" she moaned.

"Already?" Lucas said a bit surprised "How did it pop so quickly?"

"I'll tell you why, not only am I carrying 2 human beings in me, but a giant impregnated me."

Lucas gave a sad look.

"A giant who I love very much" she added with a smile as she hugged him.

Just then Farkle and Smackle came out from their room across the hall.

"Hey guys" Farkle smiled as he then noticed Riley's stomach.

"Whoa" he said surprised "How is your stomach popping already?"

Riley pointed to Lucas.

"Oh I see" he nodded as Lucas rolled his eyes.

"Wow" Smackle chuckled as she took a bite of her pop tart "It's hard to see you like this."

"Yeah well get used to it" Riley said dully "It's gonna get a while lot bigger soon, and I'm gonna get a whole lot meaner."

And with that she took Smackle's pop tart and took a bite as she went into the elevator.

"Be prepared" Lucas warned with a sigh them as he joined Riley in the elevator as it closed.

"Well there goes my breakfast" Smackle sighed.

Just then Maya, Josh, and Zay appeared from the stairs.

"Hey guys" Maya said to them.

"Riley's stomach already popped" Farkle told her.

"Already?" she said surprised.

"Why so quick?" Josh asked.

"Well she is having twins and a giant did impregnated her" Zay put in as they all agreed.

"She also took my pop tart" Smackle added.

"Hey when is she gonna have a baby shower?" Maya suddenly asked.

"Well some women have it a month before their baby is due" Josh explained "Or sometimes they have it after their baby is born."

"Well I can't wait that long, I have the perfect gift for them and I can't wait to show them."

Just then an idea popped in her head.

"You know what?" Maya smiled "I'm gonna plan the best baby shower ever, because being the pregnant Riley she is, it's gonna be too much stress on her."

"Maya it's too early to start planning a shower" Josh put in.

"I don't care, by the time it's the 8th month, we'll all be prepared."

"Hey you think they came up with names already?" Farkle asked.

"I don't think so" Josh answered "They gotta wait until they know what genders their babies are gonna be before they pick the names, that way it'll be easier."

"You know I expected Riley to have already chosen her baby names" Maya said "I mean I already have my baby names picked out."

"What are they?" Smackle asked.

"I ain't telling you guys."

"Well look-" Josh spoke up "We have 5 more months until their babies come, we have lots of time to worry. But until then, I say we all just calm down, and let Riley and Lucas figure things out on their own."

Everyone sighed.

"Let me guess-" Smackle suddenly said to Maya "If you have a girl, you're gonna name her Riley?"

"... Maybe" Maya replied while hiding her guilt.

After work, Riley and Lucas went back to their apartment along with everyone else as Riley fell asleep on her dining table.

"She's drooling on the table" Zay spoke up.

"She didn't sleep well last night" Lucas explained "She even kicked me off our bed so I had to sleep on the couch."

"Well it's gonna happen more often when her stomach gets bigger" Josh put in "So you might as well make it home on the couch."

Just then Riley woke up as she gave a moan while wiping her saliva off his cheek.

"Ew" she said with disgust.

"Riley why don't you just go sleep in our room?" Lucas suggested.

"But it's so far away" she groaned with a sleep look as she laid back in her chair "Can you carry me?"

Lucas gave a sigh as he went up to her and scooped her up in his arm.

"Damn you're getting heavy" he commented.

"I know, get used to it" she smirked as he carried her to their room.

"So-" Maya spoke up "Have any of you figured out what you're gonna give Riley and Lucas for their baby shower?"

"Maya-" Josh said "Once again, it's too early to be thinking about a baby shower."

"I know but- I'm just so excited" she smiled "In 5 months they're gonna have their twins, and I'm gonna be an aunt!"

"Again, too soon Maya" he said a bit annoyed.

"Actually-" Smackle spoke up "I already know what I'm gonna get them."

"Really?" Maya said a bit surprised "What is it?"

"I'm not saying anything, mainly because I have to know what genders their babies are gonna be so I can pick it out."

"I'm just getting them diapers" Zay offered "I mean it's cheap, and they need it."

"Well you're a great friend" Maya said with sarcasm.

"Oh yeah?" he doubted while crossing his arms "What are you getting them?"

"Once again, I'm not telling until the day."

"Should we be worried?" Farkle wondered.

"No, don't worry, it's a great and perfect gift for them, and I know they're gonna love it."

She then slid open a drawer near the sink when something caught her eye.

"Whoa what's this?" she pulled out a pamphlet.

"What you got there?" Josh asked.

"It's a pamphlet about houses for sale" she replied with a wondering look.

"Houses for sale?" Smackle raised an eyebrow.

"Wait a minute" Maya's eyes widen "You don't think..."

At that point everyone sat there surprised.

"With their babies on the way-" Farkle said "And the houses for sale pamphlet..."

"Are they planning on moving?" Maya gasped.
