You woke up to the sounds of children silently chatting. You open your eyes and see the kids. Oh god, you feel embarrassed.

"Did David get laid last night?" Max teased. Yes, you were in bed with David, but turns out, you were cuddling with him.

"What's going on here?" David questioned sleepily.

"David and Y/n sitting in a tree-"

"Max, it's too early for teasing."

"Too early, eh Y/n? It's fucking 2 in the afternoon."

"WHAT?!?!?!" You quickly checked your phone . Yep.  2:37 pm.

"Aw... That means we can't do all the activities I had planned today..." David sighed as he looked down.

"It's okay, David." You smiled.

"No, it's not..." he groaned. "Today we were going to do something that you would have wanted to do... A songwriting camp..."

"Aw, it's okay. We can do it another day..." You grinned.

"Ew! Why would we want to do what SHE wants?" Max questioned.

"Because... She needs to be appreciated." David said firmly as he stood up.

"But why? She doesn't mean anything to anyone!" Max chuckled as he punched David.

"Max! I will not tolerate you saying such negative things about her!" David said aggressively. Max didn't reply.

"David. Let the kid say what he wants to say." You sighed. I mean, what was the point of David telling Max to stop anyway? He wasn't going to do it even if it would kill him. But, David wouldn't have it.

"No. He has to respect you! Everyone does!" David smiled as he helped you out of bed. He was trying to help, and you were greatful... But you were a bit embarrassed, but in a sweet way???  You walked back to your cabin and got changed. Once you were dressed, you steped outside. Sure, the morning... Or afternoon, started off rocky. But maybe things will be-

"David! i don't like her!" max shouted at David. Ohhhhhhh gee.

"Max! i am not going to hear it! Y/n deserves our love and respect!" David frowned.

"No she doesn't! She makes this peice of crap cramp even crappier." David rolled his eyes after what Max said.

~Time Skip~

It was a bit late. You were sitting in a chair while watching David play with the campers.

"God, he's so... So..."

"Y/n!" One of the campers called. You snapped out of your train of thought. Nikki ran up to you and jumped on your lap. You were totally taken by surprise.

"What's up, Nikki?" You questioned as you smiled at the little girl.

"I need to apologize. I thought you were a total loser... But now i've come to realize you deserve our respect!" Nikki smiled with a slight giggle.

"Aw Nikki!" You giggled as you hugged her. "It's okay. I think we can be great friends!" David was playing with Space Kid. But when David saw you talking with Nikki, Nikki smiling and you laughing, his heart grew 9 times bigger.

"Um... David?" Space Kid questioned. "Why are you starring at Y/n?" David snapped out of his stupor.

"I'm just happy to see that Y/n is finally being treated with respect..." David smiled, keeping his eyes locked on you.

"I never understood why everyone hated Y/n... I never had a personal opinion on her, but she seems cool enough." Space Kid shrugged. David looked down at Space Kid.

"Why don't you go hang out with her?" David suggested. Space Kid thought for a second, and then ran up to you screaming "COME WITH ME TO SPACE, Y/N" David was so happy... To see you happy.

"Hey, shitface!" Max yelled at you. You turned your attention towards Max.

"What is it, Max?" You sighed.

"I just wanted to tell you that you should kill yourself and that no one here should like you. Your family is probably happy to be dead because they don't have to live in the same world as you." Max shrugged. He looked right at you, and walked away. As you continued your conversation with Nikki and Space Kid, what Max said bugged you. And David could tell that it bugged you... You looked less happy. But still happy enough. After all the campers went to bed, you started heading back to your cabin. You almost made it, until David stopped you.

"Oh hey David." You smiled.

"Hey, Y/n." He grinned at you. "Did you have fun today?"

"Actually, yeah, Nikki and Space Kid like me, so thats a start... You like me too, which is really cool." you giggled. David couldn't help but smile with a slight chuckle.

"You don't know how happy it made me to see you talking with Nikki and Space Kid... Turns out that Space Kid has actually like you this hole time, actually. He just didn't really show it physically." David said calmly.

"Oh really? Awwwwwwwwwwww..." you smiled as you pushed your hair back. David absolutly loved seeing you smile.

"I think I'm going to let you sleep in your cabin tonight... If I can trust you?" He smirked as he raised an eyebrow.

"Yes, David. You can trust me." You chuckled as you playfully punched him. "Now, goodnight."

"Goodnight, Y/n." he smiled as he walked to his cabin. You had no idea why, but whenever David said your name, butterflys would swirl in your stomach and chest. You changed into your PJ's and laid in bed with a smile.

"David is just so... Percious. He makes me so happy. I... Do I have-? Is-?" Before you could finish your thought, you feel asleep.
