Light poured in through the curtains. Yurio had begun to toss and turn in his sleep, meaning he was soon to awake. Trying to sit himself up, however, he felt something restraining him. Looking beside him, he saw Y/N, a smile spread across her face and her arms wrapped around him.
He blushed furiously, but, thankfully, there was no Viktor today. He wriggled out of her hug and looked at the time. It was still 5:00am. He knew he should've stayed awake. Suddenly, he recalled the events of yesterday's trip. How did he get here without being woken up? Yurio tossed over to face the brunette sleeping beside him. His eyes were still weak, so were flickering.
Yurio stared at the girl in front of him. The longer he looked at her face, the more he realised how much she had changed since elementary. She was gaunt, fair, and her hair swayed in front of her eyes just perfectly. She was still as cute, though. Sure she had contacts with her, but it wasn't the same. He had always imagined the same chubby, adorable girl typing behind the screen but this - this was a whole new story. Even her fingers, they were seemed so soft and delicate, they were beautiful.
Shut up. He told himself. She was your best friend, you can't be thinking stuff like this, it's gross, perverted, even-
Yurio suddenly noticed something glimmer in the light of the rising sun outside. It was draped across the pillow, and he - curious to know what it was - picked it up. It seemed to be a necklace, and it was around Y/N neck. Thinking back, he remembered seeing something like it around her neck almost all the time. It was fairly short, so he had to come awfully close to make sure she didn't feel him tugging on it.
Yurio finally managed to make out the writing engraved onto it. It was a locket, and it read 'My Cinnamon Roll.' He furrowed his eyebrows, then opened it easily to see a picture of the two if them, standing next to each other as kids. His jaw fell slightly and his eyes flickered at the sight. All this time, she had kept that old necklace? Yurio traced back to elementary school, remembering how he would always ask her why she wore a stupid necklace around her neck all the time. He reasoned why she nicknamed him Cinnamon Roll, but just didn't understand why the locket didn't say 'Best Friends' or 'BFF.'
His train of thought was interrupted as he felt something being pushed against his chest. He looked down to see Y/N's breasts pushed hard against him, and he backed away burning a chilli red.
He must've made a noise, because Y/N began to speak.
'What is it?'
'Uh- it's- well first of all, how did I get here?'
She glared at him, bewildered, then understood what he meant. 'Oh, I piggybacked you to the room. You fell asleep in the taxi.'
'Uh- HUH?!'
She giggled, then carried on. 'Yeah, you even started smiling and muttering things like 'Grandpa'.'
He gazed at her, then blushed. He must've recalled thinking he was five, but pushed that out the way for now.
'Oh, and you even hugged me around the chest. Viktor was literally stalking us-'
'And second, why do you wear that thing?' He gestured towards the locket on the bed, and she looked up at him before smiling widely.
'Well, after you became a skater I barely had a chance to meet you much, now did I?'
Yurio knew she was hiding something. 'And.'
She stared at him, slightly shocked, then Y/N spoke. 'Yuri-chan, I love you and I always have. You're just too cute, that's all. I guess.' She scratched the back of her neck, and Yurio just stared at her.
He then smiled, a wide one, showing his teeth and all. He kneeled over her, then bent down and kissed her forehead passionately.
'If you tell Viktor about this, your dead.' He said with his usual tone, and it made Y/N laugh, alright. Like they had arranged it, the two of them touched their noses together, before rubbing them side to side. When they were finished, the pair- couple, I guess - looked at each other for many moments, realising what they had just done. But they laughed anyway, giggling silently being sure not to wake anyone.
Y/N settled herself against Yurio's chest, and the two of them were about to sleep before she spoke.
'I kissed your cheek in front of Viktor.'
'HUH?!'
