'Yura?'

Y/N waved a hand in front of his face, snapping him out of his temporary trance. Once Yurio looked up at her, she giggled before speaking again.

'Surprise!' A smile spread across his face, and he dragged her away from the view of their fans.

------------

They had arrived back at Yu-topia Katsuki, and had cooled off in the Hot Spring. It was now 8:09, and both Yurio and Y/N had begun to pack.

'My ass is killing me...' complained Yurio from the corner of the room.

'Common. We'll take a break, I'm pretty tired too.'

The two sat on their bed, looking at their organised room.

'Thank god we're nearly done with the packing. I wanna go to the rink tomorrow. One last time, before I leave. You know?'

Yurio just grunted his reply, staring at his sore foot. Y/N saw the cuts and bruises on it, bringing out a pack of plasters.

'You should put plasters on those. I do, they'll sting like hell if you don't.' She picked up his foot and placed it on a pillow, covering the worst parts with a plaster each. They then decided to go to bed early; tomorrow's plans were pretty tight. They would first wake up, go to the rink and spend some time there, then finish up all the packing, then get ready for the banquet (a ceremonial dinner after each skate,) and after the whole day was over - a hearty dinner, a nice bath in the Hot Spring, a goodnight's rest and then their flight the following night. It seemed like a lot to get through, but, then again, it could've been worse. For Yurio, however, it did get worse.

'OH SHIT!'

'What?'

'KATSUDON AND VIKTOR ARE GOING TO RUSSIA TOO, RIGHT?'

'Yeah... You forgot?' Replied Y/N sarcastically. 'Viktor was ranting about how he and Yuuri would live together. Gosh...'

'THAT MEANS WE'RE GONNA BE RINK MATES, BAKA!'

'What so bad about that?' Yurio's head fell into his hands as he remembered how irritating Viktor could be sometimes. He decided to drop the subject and go to bed.

--------------

The next day, the pair of them got up early and went straight over to Ice Castle Hasetsu. What they found, however, was quite unexpected.

'Seriously?' The rink was packed, full, with small children and skater otaku - most likely expecting their idols to walk through the door.

'Oh well, I wouldn't mind. Most of the people here are kids, anyway.' Y/N tied up her skates and went onto the ice, doing a few loops and quads. A lot of the kids around her had begun to gasp and wow, making a small huddle around the figure skater.

'Woah! That was so cool! Can you teach me?'

'How did you do that!?'

Y/N just smiled down at them all, before spotting a small child nearby. He had fallen on the ice and begun to cry, but no one was paying much attention to him.

The young skater made her way to the boy, before bending down and reaching out a hand.

'Hey. Need a hand?' He looked up at her for a few moments, before taking it and trying to balance himself on the ice.

'I'm Y/N. And what's your name?'

'S-Suro...'

Y/N had almost let go of his hand, but he screamed and clenched it hard.

'What's wrong?'

'I-I don't know how to skate.' She smiled at him, before holding his hand tight and beginning to reassure him.

Not far away, Yurio was leaning on the side of the rink, a group of otaku kids huddled around his feet. Ignoring them, he was typing onto his phone until he heard the conversation. Yurio looked up at Y/N, before skating over to the scene.

'Here, hols my hand and just walk on the ice.' Suro did as the girl told him to, walking on the ice with wobbly legs.

'I'm scared.'

'Don't worry, I'll catch you. Keep going, now.' He followed the instruction with some reluctance, but managed to walk from one side of the ice to the other.

'Great! Now try sliding, like this.' Y/N held his hand and dragged him forward, and he used his two feet like he saw the skaters do on TV. It was soon that Suro found this quite fun, but had no idea what was coming next.

'Ok, now try yourself. It's OK, you can do it.'

Just as Suro let go of her hand, a familiar voice rang in his ears.

'Suro! Time to go home!'

'Coming, mommy!' Suro's mother looked closely at the girl next to him, before yelling at him.

'Suro! Come here!'

Once he was there, Y/N and Yurio could just about hear some 'don't talk to strangers' nonsense.

'What's her name?'

'It's Y/N! I saw her land a triple axel, mommy! It was so cool!' The woman winced at the sound of the name, making her way to Y/N.

'D-do you mind if we get a picture?'

'Uh?! S-sure!' Y/N bent down next to Suro for the woman to take a photo, before replying to all their thanks and waving goodbye to the young boy.

'Well, now you know how it feels when you've got fans all across the world.'

'He, at least they don't call me a kitty...'

'URUSAI!'
