"You see that Motorcycle over there?" The Skater Girl asked me after we stopped at a red light. I looked to my right. "That's my brother's boyfriend." She answered. She turned her head to the right and started getting the person's attention. "Hey! Reiner!". The guy on the other Motorcycle looked at us.
"Annie!? Where the hell is your helmet?" The blond male named Reiner asked. "You're brother will kill me if he knew that you didn't have a helmet on."
"Sorry." She muttered. "I gave it to Scarf Girl."
I let my right hand get off her waist and waved at the dude before wrapping my hands around Skater Girl again.
"Ah. Hi, there Scarf Girl." Reiner greeted before he turned his attention back to Skater Girl. "Where are you going?"
"We're going to UnderGround Skate she owes me a new skateboard." She answered.
"UnderGround Skate? I'm going there too. I'll race ya when the red light goes green." He grinned even though I couldn't see it because of his helmet.
"You're on Soldier."
"Let's see what the Female Titan has to offer." Reiner laughed.
I looked at the red light.
Yellow.
Green.
I'm going to die.
I tightly held on to Skater Girl and buried my head into her back.
. . .
"Hold on tight!" Skater Girl laughed as she used more speed. Reiner was still ahead of us but we are catching up. Lucky for us there were no cars using this road because it was on a hill and if you fell off the road you'll end up in a forest. "I'm going to show you the shortcut!" She yelled over the wind.
The next thing I knew was that we were in the air falling to the forest below us.
I'm officially going to die.
My hair flew in the wind, getting in the way of my visions. The wind hitting my face. My adrenaline rushing. My heart beating faster and faster, not sure if it's because I'm in the air or because I'm so close to Skater Girl. The motorcycle landed on the ground safely as Skater Girl put more speed on. "Now we're officially going to beat, Reiner! I'm going to show him who's the better Titan!"
I couldn't help but laugh.
. . .
"That was not fair!" Reiner yelled when he parked his motorcycle outside what looked like an abandoned house.
"All's fair in love and war." Skater Girl replied with a grin.
"Fuck you."
"Sorry but I'm not into guys and if I remember correctly your not into girls." She countered and then turned to me. "Let's go inside."
"But this looks abandoned," I said.
"Don't judge a book by its cover." She said and opened the door for me, "Ladies first." I giggled.
"It's empty," I stated after looking around.
"This way," Reiner said and waved. "If you open this door it leads to somewhere."
I opened the door. "It leads to emptiness." I deadpanned.
"No. See you have to jump down that hole like this.." He said and jumped.
"I know how to jump..." I muttered but before I could react Skater Girl grabbed my hand and jumped.
I felt softness. "Look nothing bad happened." Skater Girl whispered and pulled her hand out for me. I gladly accepted.
I looked around. There was a Skating Rink, lot's of graffiti cover the concrete. A small bar for drinks and snacks. There's a small Skateboard shop in the corner of the area. There some vending machines. Next, to the Skateboard shop, there's a Gaming Room.
And most of all this place was covered with a lot of graffiti.
"This way!" Skater Girl yelled as she ran, I followed her into the Skateboard shop.
"Well if it isn't a member of the Titan Trio." Someone behind the counter stated. "What can I get you?"
"My Skateboard broke, I need a new one." Skater Girl answered as she browsed through the different designs. She turned and faced the man. "What's with all these wack designs? What happened to the ones two days ago?"
"Sorry but they change."
"Then give me your Finece Maple wood."
"$20."
"$10."
"$20."
"$10."
"$15."
"You owe me." Skater Girl hissed. "You would be dead if I didn't help you."
"Fine." The worker said and went into the back while muttering, "Stupid Titans."
"Sooo, you saved him from death?" I asked.
"Yeah. Killed the person who attacked him in the process." She deadpanned.
"Nice," I said and then looked at her. "Why just wood? Why not the ones with designs?"
"They didn't have the one I wanted. So I'd rather make my own design." She said while looked up and me. "Can I have those $10?"
"Yeah, sure," I said and gave it to her. Once the worker came back with the wood Skater Girl paid and then we both left.
"Alright let's get going. I'll drop you home."
Home alone.
"Can I stay at your house?" I suddenly asked.
I'm stupid. Fuck we don't even know each other names. She going to say no.
"Sure. Why tho'?"
"Because my stupid brother will be with his boyyyfrienddd and I don't want to be alone." I quickly explained.
"Alright. Hope you don't mind but my brother lives with me."
"No, it's fine."
"Just be careful he might say something along the lines of 'Thank god you found a girlfriend. I thought you were going to be alone forever.' What's your name anyways?"
"Mikasa Ackerman."
"Are you connected to Levi Ackerman in any shape or form?"
I scoffed. "No way in hell. He is dating my brother though. What's your name?"
"Annie Leonhardt." She looked at me. "Since you gave me the money I owe you something. What do you want?"
"A date."
