29. Getting her back

Mason POV

It was nice seeing her I just wish I could have left knowing what was up with us. She said she needed time. I hope it won't be long cause I miss her being around so much.

Kelci POV

I really wasn't expecting off of that. Seeing him was hard. I missed him so much but I just didn't wanna give in. I just need to focus on me.

Monday came and I had to get ready for class. I didn't have work today so I could just come home and chill and catch up on basket ball wives I guess. I decided not to look bummy anymore I was tired of looking depressed all the time so I dressed nice today for class.

I put on my Forrest green button up on, a navy blue cardy, new leggings I bought with my brown knee high boots. matched it with a navy blue scarf, studs for my ears and wore my hair curled with a brown purse and left

I walk in my class and sit down.

"Hey Kelci. You look really pretty today." Dre said sitting next to me

I looked at him. damn so I look ugly every day. I thought.

"I mean you look nice everyday but I see you switched it up today" it's like he read my damn mind.

"Thank you. " I replied.

"So how you doing ?"

"I'm fine" I said taking out my laptop start taking notes." what about yourself? how are things with you?"

"Uhhh I'm good."

"That's good."

"You wanna get lunch later on?" he said a little hesitant

I turned around and stared at him for a moment.

" I just thought maybe you would want to... I'm , I'm not trying to do anything--"

"Naw it's cool Dre. yeah we can go to Kobe after class. I been craving that since last week."

He smiled. "cool."

After class we got in or vehicles and drove separately. Ion play that. lol
When we got there we dined and I didn't even look at the menu I already knew what I wanted.

"So what do you recommend?" I've never been here before." Dre said .

"Really!? oh wow. well Chef Andy over there" I said pointing" always Hooks me up with some fresh rolls but I like mines cooked. I get the snow ball rolls too."

"What's that?"

"It has the sweet rice, crab meat and cream cheese. it's really good. you can't try some one mines."

The waiter came over and asked us about our drinks.

"I'll have a sprite thank you." I said.

"A coke . thanks " Dre said.

We talked a little before the food was done. Dre was funny and sweet. I learned that he moved here after his mother died and he came to stay with his aunt. He was ready to drop out but he read his mother's will and one of her wishes was for him to go to college and okay ball like he promised her.

When the food came out it looked so good.

"See this is it." I said holding one snowball roll with my choosticks
"Wanna try?"

He nodded. and opened his mouth. I fed him.

"Damn. yeah that is good lil mama.

"I told you."
