3months later*

I really feel like me and Mason are back to were we where. So much hurt came in the past year. Even though we weren't together for our one year we celebrated it anyway. I love him.

It's been a 4months plus since the shit with Dre. I don't think about it too much anymore. Maybe when I'm alone at outside or something at night and I think I see something but that's about it. Mason pretty much makes me stay on the phone with him every minute he's not with me.

I was offered this internship in downtown Atlanta for management sho I can start my career off early.

Mas doesn't really want me going all the way down there everyday by myself so he said he would drive and pick me up today for my first day. Nigga acting like my damn parent. I wanted to go casual today.

Blue Polo button up, khakis and my tan toms. I curled my hair also. I was excited.

When Mas came home to pick me up he bought me a milkshake. Yassss something to calm my nerves.

When I got in I gave him a peck and strapped myself in.

"So what time do I need to pick you? I need to be there early I guess ."

"Mas why you acting like you a damn parent ? and I get out at 9. so leave at 8."

"Kelci, I'm a risky nigga but not with you."

"Risky ? what's that have to do with anything?"

"I'm not about to let shit happen to you. You all the way down there, you know how many crazy ass niggas live in Atlanta? Half the damn population that's how many."

"Nope fuck that Kelci. I'm not taking no chances."

"Ugh fine!"

"You wanna make sure I go to the bathroom every hour too" I mumbled and looked out the window.

"Okay" he said looking at me from the corner of his eyes.

"Sooo when I get home can I get some ?"

"Nopeeee." he said

"Whyyyyyy?" I whined

"Cause you making little smart comments to yourself like I can't hear. I got you though."

"You got me as in I can get it tonight ?" I said with excitement

"Hell no."

"Mason ! Why you holding out.?"

"Cause all you use me for is sex." he joked

I laughed . " What the hell ever."

Mason POV

When we pulled in the office parking lot it was full.

"Okay bae ima get out right here." she said getting her stuff.

"You sure you don't want me to walk you in?" I said being extra.

"-_- Mas chill. " she gave me a kiss." I love you bye. I'll call you."

"Yeah you better." I said but she closed the door. Damn. I like it better when she's at home so I have someone to come home to. but it's cool, I like her hustle.

After I dropped her off I went and scooped up my bros and we headed out to eat. I needed some gas and pulled in the Texaco and got out. I seen this black Nissan pull right next to me and it was somebody in there fighting in the front seat.
