Rascal and Chloe

A/N: Hi everyone! I don't know why you like my book... But seeing so much support makes me not want to disappoint you all so... I also want to apologize for not writing for a while... Thank you all for everything! <3 also... This kind of gets dark...

They snuck Rascal into Emily's house while Emily's mom was in the bathroom. Rascal  sat on the floor, the other girls sat around him. Chloe's eyes didn't seem to be anywhere else but on Rascal! Kelsey also stared at Rascal, but not in the same way Chloe was. Kelsey felt like Rascal can never be trusted. The room was silent, all you could hear was Emily's mom's TV on. April folded her arms and sighed.

"Okay... Rascal. Tell us what's going on?" April broke the silence.

Attention was drawn to Rascal quickly, you could see him get nervous.

"Remember my master, emperor Nogo? I didn't get turned into goo. In fact, I used my magic to save myself just in time. Ever since then I've been watching you girls... Then I realized how pointless I was. I had no purpose to serve anymore. I tried stabbing myself, to see if I could even feel pain! Or maybe I wanted to end my life.... That's when you girls came to the rescue! I'm not sure how this happened but... I guess I should say thank you?" Rascal spoke softly.

The girls didn't know what to respond with. All they had were blank faces. Chloe and Emily had smiles in their faces.

"Rascal, you do have a purpose. We all do. Though it may not seem like it... We do. Rascal you are capable of so many things!" Emily said with a warm smile on her face.

"All we have to do is find it!" Chole agreed.

Kelsey and April started dying laughing. Lily just shyly giggled to herself. Emily and Chloe had no idea what was going on. Rascal had an upset look on his face, he had a somewhat desire to hurt them.

"Are you serious right now?! Okay come on! Emily, drop the act! You to Chloe! That's hilarious! Rascal doesn't care about any of us! He's just a guy with selfish desires!" Kelsey shouted, still laughing.

That's when Rascal snapped. He stood up and kicked Kelsey with full on force. Emily and Chloe were shocked. Emily pulled Rascal back, away from Kelsey. Kelsey got up, she had a smirk on her face. It was almost as if Kelsey planned this... This was a side the girls never saw of Rascal. Was he trying to defend himself? Or something else...
