A new bright and sunny day at Emily's house. They were all drinking tea in Emily's room. "Okay guys! Let's just stay indoors today! I'm really tired of the fun stuff we did this weekend..." Emily giggled. The rest of the girls nodded their heads. April seemed to look troubled by something though. "What's up April?" Kelsey nudged April. April took out 5 tiny cork bottles filled with a liquid substance. "I got these free handouts from a merchandiser. She said they made anyone speak the truth... I kind of wanted to test it out with you guys? It's up to you of course." April said quietly. All the girls were intrigued and immediately drank the solution. "Ew! This tastes bad!" Emily whined. They couldn't agree more. It tasted like spoiled milk with a pinch of rotten eggs and salt. Gross! "Emily looks weird today." Lily murmured. As soon as those words left her lips, she covered her mouth with her hands. Everyone was shocked that Lily said something like that. Sure, it wasn't offensive but Lily wasn't the judging type. She seemed to respect everyone. "Lily that was rude..." Emily said "Let's see if this works... Does anyone have gossiped to share?" Kelsey smirked. Everyone shook their head. "Kelsey you're always trying to stir up some trouble." Lily scoffed. Lily screamed and ran out of the room. What was up with Lily? No one ever knew that she was capable of saying things like that. They ran after her, she was already outside the house. "Lily! Hey what's up with you?" April shouted from afar. Lily was a fast runner when she was scared. April stopped running and took a moment to study's to the little solution they just drank. The one Lily drank was labeled with, 'Negative'. As soon as April realized this she told the others. Everyone understood that Lily wasn't like that. However, Lily thought everyone hated her.

They finally found Lily, in a park near their neighborhood. "I'm just going to hurt you guys more." Lily pouted. Emily went up to her and gently placed her hand on Lily's shoulder. "Hey, it's okay. It turns out that think you drank was some evil stuff. But it's okay! The potion wore off everyone! So, it doesn't work anymore! We don't hate you Lily!" Emily smiled. Everyone gathered in. Lily felt happy, but started crying tears of joy. "Thanks you guys!" Lily cheered.
