Chapter 8: Hellfire

Both Stiles and I take a seat as Theo goes to flip the jeep back over. Theo then starts telling Stiles that we should get him to a hospital but of course with Stiles being as stubborn as he is just tells him that he is fine. I was about to put in my two cents about it when my phone rings interrupting my thoughts. I see that it's Scott calling which either means our plan worked or it failed.

"Hello?"

"Hey Kai, we have a problem."

"What happened? Is everyone okay? I heard Malia scream is Malia okay?"

"Yeah, Malia is fine the Dread Doctors just got in our head, but she's okay."

"Then what's the problem?"

"They took Hayden.......and Liam"

"They took Liam! How could you let that happen! You said you would protect them! What were you doing Scott?!"

"I tried protecting them! We just got overpowered! Malia and I are out trying to look for them right now."

"How could you be so careless! Scott, you knew they were after Hayden and you knew Liam wouldn't leave her side! You should have never left their side!"

"I left them with Lydia!"

"Oh, so not only did you put them at risk, but Lydia as well! Scott, you are a True Alpha! Lydia can't heal like you do! Start acting like one!"

I yell into the phone before hanging up and turning to glance at the other two who are looking at me with concerned eyes. Sighing I put my phone in my back pocket before making my way over to them.

"Now what is it?"

"It's Kira."

"What about Kira?"

"She was arrested for homicide."

'You have got to be kidding me! I can't I just can't handle this right now! First Liam and Hayden, now Kira. What am I supposed to do? I just-Stiles I just can't-I don't know what to do."

I admit finally breaking down. For once ever since this whole supernatural thing started happening to us I have never felt like this, but for once I feel like we are losing. We don't have the upper hand and we have no idea what we are up against. They are winning and we are losing.

Stiles looks at me before immediately pulling me into a hug. He starts whispering things in my ear trying to cheer me up, but it isn't working. I know he means well and I know that he doesn't want me to feel this way, but I can't help it. Stiles pulls away before wiping the tears that fell from my eyes telling me that it will be okay. Nodding my head he tells me that he will take me home.

As we start to walk away I look back at Theo thanking him to which he just nods telling me to get some rest. Smiling I follow Stiles to the jeep as he prays in his head that it actually starts and that we can drive it. When it does not only are we both shocked, but relieved as well.

The ride to my house doesn't take long and soon we are just sitting in my driveway. He turns off the car before glancing at me asking me if I want him to stay with me or not. Glancing towards my house I look back at him and nod knowing that it would probably be best that I'm not alone right now. We both make our way inside my house before just heading straight to my bed and lying down. Stiles asks if he could wash up making me nod and tell him it's basically his house too.

He smiles before heading to my bathroom. A couple minutes later he comes back out clean and as if it never happened. He comes to lie down next to me asking me if I want to talk about it. Shaking my head I tell him that I don't want to talk about anything right now. He nods understandingly before we both fall asleep.
