"I never got to ask, how is your back?" I step in front of Beck's chair as the boys leave. He sighs and looks me over tiredly.

"It's fine, don't worry about me." Beck starts to smirk as I slide my leg up on his lap, stopping and sighing dramatically.

"Oh well I was going to say we could swim to take off the pressure and maybe I'd give you a massage. But if you're fine-" I go to step away to have him grab my arm and look up at me with sorry eyes.

"Well I mean it's not great," he stands and pulls me to him. I pat his chest look to him sweetly.

"Oh no I don't wanna bother you." I turn in his arms and squeal when he lifts me from my feet, running and jumping into the pool with me in his arms. "Beck hurry come here!"

He swims to me once I cry for him as we surface. I pull off my shirt and toss it out of the pool, laughing once his wide eyes look from me to the soggy shirt. He dives under and pops up in front of me in seconds. Taking off his shirt I toss it next to mine, wrapping myself up to him. "I heard its dangerous to swim in clothes."

"I heard it's even more dangerous to take warm showers with them on. Wanna go be safe in one with me?" Nodding enthusiastically Beck kisses me softly, swooping me up and carrying me to the upstairs bathroom.

I slide off my shorts and step up next to him as he starts the hot water. Looking from my legs up Beck blinks at me and pulls me up against him. "Have I told you how perfect you're lately?"

"Yes but I'd like to hear more." I kiss him sweetly and pull him into the shower, closing the door and swallowing my nerves. Beck slides his hands over my body, pulling me closer and smiling through our kiss.

"Your heart is racing." He whispers as he pushes my wet hair behind my ears. I nod and wrap my arms around his shoulders, gasping when he grabs my butt and pulls me up around his waist.

Kissing my neck he moves us under the warm water as his hands explore my body. I pull his mouth back to mine and plaster myself against him. "Want that massage now?"

"Yes please." Beck sets me down and turns off the water and we wrap towels around ourselves. Beck tosses me over his shoulder and then onto the bed, laughing as I hold the towel to my body. Flopping on his stomach Beck pulls me to his back and sighs once I sit on his towel covered butt and slide my hands up his damp skin.

He has two long bruises from the metal of the locker. I smile as he get goosebumps from my fingers brushing over them. It's been a few weeks and they're still pretty bad. We haven't had trouble at school. Chad is on house arrest along with Mandy even though she can come to school.

Beck's muscles completely relax as he falls asleep.

What? He did not just fall asleep.

Tonight would have been a perfect night to have sex.

Oh my god. Did I just consider sex before marriage?

Yes. Yes I did.

I lay next to him and pull the blankets up over us, snuggling into my practically naked boyfriend who is more innocent than his friends think.

Wait till I tell Kate about this one.

-

I wake up to Beck's light touch on my arm. Turning over towards him I look up to his furrowed eyebrows in confusion. "Penny for your thoughts?"

"No just a kiss." Beck leans down and pecks me lightly before sitting up and turning towards me, the blankets barely covering his lap. I advert my eyes and touch his hand, frowning when he pulls it away.

"Beck?" I sit up next to him and look down the the phone he's staring at. "Did something happen?"

"I have to do something tonight. And you're not going to like it." He says while still looking away from me. I scoot closer and put my hand on his side when he doesn't move. "Danny helped us, so I have to return the favor and keep us good."

"What is it?" I lean towards him and try to connect eyes. "I could come-"

"No. It's a delivery. And it is very dangerous I don't want you anywhere near it, got it?" He turns to me and looks me dead in the eyes. "You won't be coming."

"What are you delivering?" I lean back and furrow my eyebrows angrily. I won't be spoken to like a child. I pull my hand away when he shakes his head silently. "What are you delivering?"

"It's none of your business." He says calmly while grabbing his phone. I jump up from bed, throw on the closest shirt (his big blue one) and stomp out of the room. "Daniella."

I pull my hair up into a high ponytail as I rush down the stairs. Grabbing his jeep keys I slam the front door behind me and hop in the passenger seat, waiting patiently for him to come out. "What the fuck are you doing?"

He walks over in only dark grey sweats with an annoyed look. I lean over and start the jeep, crossing my arms as he gets in. "I wanna go home."

"I'm not letting you leave ang-" I slam my hand on the door, turning to him with my finger to his chest.

"YOU WILL TAKE ME HOME RIGHT NOW!" I scream and turn back to put my seatbelt on. Beck sits their shocked before pulling out and racing to my house.

"Can't we at least talk?" He sounds apologetic. Of course he is. There is always some kind of drama. Always something ruining the day.

"You won't tell me anything so we clearly have nothing to talk about." I cross my legs and mentally roll my eyes at my stupid self. My phone, purse, and house keys are in his room. I finger through my blonde knots and watch the road intensely.

"It's nothing you want to hear." He finally says with a sigh, stopping at a red light. I bite my tongue as I calm down to my reasonable self. "Besides. It's nothing I haven't done before."

"I thought that was done." The words are almost a whisper as I shoot him a disappointed look. He told me things would change. "You said you would change."

"Listen Ella. You got with me knowing the type of person I am. It is my life. That shit doesn't change." Beck pulls into my driveway next to Brad's car.

"You told me things would change. You said you would change for me." I turn to him and match his dark eyes with my crystal ones. My heart beating quickly. This is a big fight. Right?

"Looks like I lied." I shrugs and looks to my house. I feel my throat tighten as he doesn't fight to win me over. It's like this is all okay with him.

"A relationship can't be build on lies." I put a hand on my chest to settle my heart as he nods and looks at me for only a second.

"Maybe we shouldn't have one at all." His voice falters as he says the worst possible thing to me. He is breaking up with me. I swallow back tears, trying to hold my pride as I open the door, looking down at the ground before mumbling my surrender.

"I won't fight for someone who doesn't want me." Slamming his door shut I run up to the house, pushing past Brad who is walking out to say hi. Kate jumps up from the kitchen table once she sees me running up the stairs.

Don't cry. Don't cry. Don't cry.

I lock my bedroom door, running to the bathroom and shutting myself in. I drop to the floor and release the sad heartbroken tears I've tried avoiding.

Beck is no longer my Beck.

Maybe he wasn't my Beck at all.
