Alex’s POV

“Do you want to meet at Central Park?”

“Yeah sure, what time?”

“Hmm.. Around five.”

“Okay, see ya later dude.”

That was me on the phone with Emily. Today is my second day at the Johnson’s house and it’s not as bad as I thought it’d be. I’m actually being extra pampered. Last night, Blake and I stayed up till one in the morning talking about studies, friends, hobbies and loads of more stuff. I realized Blake was not who I thought he was. He was just an ordinary guy like me. Except he had parents and money and wasn’t blind. But he showed me his good side. The funny and caring Blake. Honestly, I regret judging him in the first place. He’s more than just a famous hot dude.

Pulling myself out of my thoughts, I got out of bed, starting sensing the furniture around me so that I wouldn’t bump my toe anywhere like I did yesterday before I slept.

As I stood up, I put on some clothes that I sense beside me… Maybe being blind isn’t so bad after all! You just have to get used to it.  As I take my shirt and pants off.

Someone opens the door.

Shit. Please don’t be Blake. Please don’t be Blake. Please don’t be Blake.

“Um...I’m sorry.” Says a husky deep voice.

It was Blake.

“YOU SHOULD LEARN TO KNOCK!” I Screech with embarrassment.

It’s even more embarrassing that I couldn’t see how he looked at me. He probably thinks I’m ugly. But why do I care? It’s not like he’d ever fall for a blind girl.

My face is burning now; I can’t believe he saw me half naked.

As I slip on a light blouse and shorts. I start to wonder how I look.

“You look beautiful.”

Blake answers my thoughts. WHAT!? HE WAS HERE THE WHOLE TIME?!

“You.were.watching.me.this.whole.time?” I state angrily.

“No, my ghost was.” He jokes but I don’t find it funny at all.

“Just… GET OUT.”

“Someone’s moody today… I just came to call you for breakfast but since you’re so grumpy then I’ll just-“

“NO! Don’t go, I don’t want to fall down the stairs.”

He won this argument but it was better than tripping of a stair case and breaking a part of my body.

I walked myself to the door… well I think I did but was suddenly held in his tight grip. His hands were tightly securing my waist.

I felt the warmth of his body surrounding me, it made me feel dizzy, like love struck but I snapped out of it as soon as I could. My face was on fire.

“Why is this taking so long?”

“Because you seem to be impatient to get away from me” he whispered down my neck.

I felt all my hair underneath my head stand up.

Electricity passed through my body rapidly.

“I’m going out with Emily to the park today.” I said trying to change the subject.

“What?! How?! When?! Where!?”

“Why’re you so into this?” I ask shocked.

“I don’t think you should go. It’s too dangerous for you.”
