Avatar: Twice's Legacy Book 1: Reflection

B1: Reflection Chapter 11: Nayeon

After receiving that note, I decided to follow with the plan. The only person I told was Jihyo and she kept her mouth shut and told me to be safe.

I trained with Yeri and Joy so I can strengthen my earth and fire bending. Air bending was hard for me and I learned how to water bend but it's very weak.

Nobody else knows that I'm the avatar so it was very hard. Jihyo said something about me needing to get in touch with my spiritual side and then the next thing to worry about is the avatar state.

I never went into it before and I should've pay attention in class the whole entire time. I only knew that it was when the avatar is at the most power and in the most danger because if you get killed in the avatar state then the avatar cycle is over.

This was too much to handle. I'm screwed.

Nayeon was in the cell for over a week. The raven silently cried every night after being yelled at by Hyun for being too noisy.

"Will anyone save me." The raven cried.

"Sorry to burst your bubble sweetheart but nobody is going to save you. Nobody is going to help you. You're going to rot in here with the rest of us." Hyun said.

It was true. Due to the fear of being poisoned, Nayeon haven't eaten anything and have gotten really skinny. Pete managed to get her water someday. (She doesn't bother asking him where he get it from) So the raven managed to last longer.

Nayeon also thinks she's going crazy. She started to talk to herself every night and never once did she not think about her family or her friends.

"Jihyo and Jeongyeon will you guys help me? Well you guys aren't here so I guess I'm alone.

Mommy, Daddy I'm scared. I been stuck her for over a week and nobody try to save me. I only have been beaten and nearly molested in the cell. I don't know how people survive in here.

I miss you guys so much. I miss Jihyo loud voice and Jeongyeon's laughs, I miss the way Jeongyeon trolls me from time to time or the funny way she eats."

"Is that your boyfriend?" Pete asks.

"Jeongyeon is a girl and no we're bestfriends."

"She must be very important to you, not everyone is fortunate like that to have someone like that." Hyun said. Nayeon looked down.

"I believe that one day, somebody will save us. They all know I went missing so Jeongyeon must be going crazy at school but then she have Jihyo.... it's not the same." Just then the door open up.

A big bodied man walked in and opened Nayeon cell. The raven backed away in fear. He grabbed her by her hair and started to drag her out.

"No! Let go of me!"

"Let's continue what we started, alone."

"No!" Pete threw Pete junior at the man and the rat bit his leg before going up his pants. Hyun actually move out the corner of the cell and grabbed Nayeon by the hair to pull her closer to the cell, So the man couldn't grab her.

Pete then did an air blast from his hands and made the perv hit the wall before going unconscious.

"Get in your cell, Quickly before they come." Hyun said and Nayeon ran back into her cell and shut it.

A group of guards came and looked at the unconscious man before helping him up. They then went to lock Nayeon cell again.

"The fifth time this week. We should really get rid of him." One of the guard said.

As the guard exit, one of them handed a bag of chips to each person and put Pete junior back in the cell.

"Don't worry, you guys will be saved soon." The person muttered before leaving.

This was the fifth attack this week from the guy.

The raven could remember the time Jeongyeon scared people away and protected her from perverts.

Jeongyeon and Nayeon was in their second to last year of middle school. Due to Nayeon's birthday being late she started school later. In reality if she was born earlier she should be in year 8 and not year 7. But she doesn't regret it.

Jeongyeon and her have been best friends since they were babies. Turns out Mrs. Yoo and Mrs. Im were highschool friends. So they couldn't wait for their daughters to become friends.

Both girls were walking to school together. Jeongyeon hair had been longer at the time and it was curled at the ends. Today was picture day.

Due to kids starting puberty especially the girls, there were alot of perverts in the school. From 15 year old boys who failed so many times to the point they don't care, to the creepy stares some of the teachers give the students.

Nayeon remember after taking her photo, the boy grabbed her and pulled her into the guys restroom. The raven cried out as he punch her in the stomach.

"Don't make a sound." He whispered. Nayeon tried to fight him off and tried avoid falling on the ground. There was little hope for the girl because she heard the rumors of him raping multiple girls in the bathroom. She didn't want to be the next victim.

The raven bite his hand and poke him in the eyes before screaming out.

"Jeongyeon!" The raven cried out before getting slammed against the wall.

"I said shut up!" The raven kept on struggling until she heard the stall opening and feeling the guys arm off her.

"Run Nayeonnie!" Jeongyeon yelled as she punched the guy in the face. Despite her being bony she had alot of strength. Nayeon froze and watch Jeongyeon fight the guy.

"Nayeon! Run!" The brunette yelled before getting slammed against the wall. Nayeon got up and ran out the bathroom and head to her teacher with tears streaming down her face.

"Teacher!"

"Yes Nayeon?"

"Please help me, the guy tried to rape me and Jeongyeon is fighting him off." Nayeon cried as she pulled the teacher's hand to the boys restroom.

When both run in they saw Jeongyeon with bruises and there was blood coming out her nose. The guy had a black eye and was clutching his jaw. The teacher quickly pick up Jeongyeon and hand her to another teacher.

A few minutes later and the cops arrive to take the boy in custody while the nurse check on Jeongyeon nose.

"It's just bruised." The lady said.

Mrs. Yoo decided to take Jeongyeon and Nayeon home.

The next day at school.

Jeongyeon went to use the restroom and some girls pushed Nayeon up the wall.

"You should be glad you have a friend like her. She's a keeper." The girl said before letting go of Nayeon.

End of flashback

"Why am I remembering this now." Nayeon says.

"Remembering what?"

"Nothing."

The raven looked at the window that was nearby.

"Jeongyeon where are you, when I need you the most."
