Memories Begin With Goodbye (Jacksepticeye x Reader)

Chapter 11

"The winning team was team blue," the lady said.

"Yeah!!" We cheered.

"The player in sixth place was Felix, fifth place was Ken, fourth place was Michael, third place was Mark, second place was Jack, and first place was (Y/n)." She said, handing us our scoring sheets. "Each of you get a card with 2000 tickets on it to buy prizes as well."

She handed us 1 card each, and we all acted like kids with candy as we headed to the gift shop.

Felix bought a purple t-shirt that said Pixel City on it. Pixel city was the decade's name. Ken bought a Pac-Man mug with Inky, Blinky, Pinky, Clyde, Pac-Man and Ms. Pac-Man on it.

Mark bought a red Pixel City hat. Jack bought a pair of green headphones with
Q-Bert on the ears. Lastly, I bought a pair of rainbow hippie style shades.

We left, smiling and chatting about anything and everything.

I woke up the next morning with Jack next to me. I fell asleep early in my own bed, so this wasn't expected. I didn't mind though.

I looked at his sleeping little face. His green hair a mess, his mouth open just a sliver, he was cute when he was sleeping.

I slowly slid out of bed and looked in my drawer for clothes to wear today. I ended up grabbing jean short shorts and a plain red scoop neck shirt.

After changing, I crept downstairs to get something to eat. I grabbed a strawberry banana smoothie and sat down. I spun the straw, sad that we only had today and tomorrow left in Florida.

I had been about half finished with my smoothie when Jack sat down across from me, making me jump. "Jesus Christ, Jack. Don't scare me like that."

"Sorry.... A smoothie for breakfast?"

"Yeah."

"What's wrong? You seem sad."

"Its just that tomorrow we leave. Then you go back to England and I go back to LA."

"We'll visit each other and call and text. Why do you worry so much? Just enjoy everything while we're still here." Jack encouraged.

"Thanks, Jack."

Today wasn't the most exciting day we've had in Florida. We mostly walked around to different shops and bought some clothes and for Mark- sunglasses.

I wore my shades from Pixel City and Jack even wore his hat. We're still going around, the sun setting, making the sky a deep orange.

We all went into Starbucks, but Jack said he'd be right back and left. Mark, Felix and Ken smiled to themselves.

"What are you smiling about?" I asked.

"Nothing." Mark giggled, making Fix and Ken giggle as well.

"Seriously, what are you giggling about?" I asked.

"We know what Jack's up to, but you don't. And we can't tell you." Felix said.

I rolled my eyes and got up to get our drinks. I came back with all of them on a tray to see Jack in his chair. He had a box the size of his palm on the table, but slid it onto his lap when I got near the table.

I sat down and passed out our drinks and took a sip of mine.

"Um, (Y/n), Jack has something for you." Ken said.

I looked at Jack and he put the box back on the table. He slid it to me and I opened it. Before I could see anything else inside, there was a note.

I set the note on the table and saw a necklace in the box. It has a dolphin with a heart that says "J + (Y)" on it.

"Thank you so much Jack! I love it!" I stood up and hugged him.

"I had to buy it a few days ago so it could be made. I told them I needed before tomorrow and they called me earlier to let me know it was done." Jack explained as he clipped the necklace around my neck.

We both sat back down and I put the note back in the box. I slipped the box into my bag and drank my coffee.
