Your POV
"Jack?"
"Hey... Its been a while." Jack replied.
I went into the living room and heard Ethan close the door. He sat on the couch next to me.
"What do you want from me? You have your new girlfriend to talk to." I snapped, then I immediately regretted it. I was really sad.
"She's not my girlfriend. That's what I wanted to tell you. I want to tell you everything in person. I'll see you tomorrow. Is that okay?" Jack asked.
"Yeah. That's fine." I replied, my eyes filled with tears that I struggled to hold in.
"Bye (Y/n)." He said.
"Bye Jack." I hung up and let my tears fall.
"What did he say?" Ethan asked as I handed his phone back to him.
"He wants to talk to me in person tomorrow." I wiped away my tears, but more fell.
"You okay?" Ethan asked.
"Yeah."
...
I woke up on the couch. Ethan had gone home last night. I checked my phone. 10am.
I got up and changed into some clothes. I didn't put any makeup on because I'd probably cry it off anyways. I ate some yogurt, not really hungry for a bit meal today.
Then I heard a knock at the door. I knew it could only be one person. I walked over and grabbed the doorknob with my shaky hand. I opened it to see a face I thought I'd never see again.
Messy green hair, sparkling blue eyes that were red and puffy with bags underneath them, jeans, and a grey Berlin shirt. "Hey."
"Hey." I moved out of the way so Jack could come inside. We both sat down in the living room, next to each other on the couch.
"So... I tried to tell you that Amanda wasn't who you thought she was. She was actually a relationship counselor that I had been working with to help us be like we used to be. She wanted to finally meet you in person, but she didn't actually know your name, which is why she didn't know who you were." Jack explained.
"I'm sorry for accusing you of cheating. I really am and I know I was wrong. Please forgive me." I said.
The next thing I knew, his lips crashed into mine.
I couldn't tell if this moment was right or wrong. I knew I liked him, but in this way I wasn't sure. I pulled away and looked into his eyes.
"I'm sorry. I don't know what got into me." He said.
"Its okay. Its just been a while since I've done that. You know, the whole 'kissing someone' thing." I replied.
"(Y/n)?"
"Hmm?"
"I love you."
"I love you too Jack." I said.
"If that's true, then I want to know... Will you marry me?" Jack pulled the ring out of his pocket.
"Of course. And this time we will get married." I said, kissing him.
When we both pulled away, we smiled. "You know, (Y/n), if you don't want to leave LA, we can stay here if you want to."
"Really?"
"Yeah. We can invite all of our friends over for the wedding. We can have a big cake and flowers and... I don't know what else." Jack said.
"And cookies?" I asked.
"Yes. All the cookies in the world." Jack smiled.
"We can stop planning for now. Right now, you need some sleep. When was the last time you slept?" I asked him.
Jack hesitated for a moment. "A week and a half ago. Amandamade me get some sleep. She told me not to spend all my time worrying about you."
"Come on, Jack. Get some sleep." I led him into my room and layed him down.
He almost instantly fell asleep with a smile on his face.
...
I decided to get some food for us. Jack had still been asleep, but when he wakes up, he'll probably be hungry.
I grabbed my keys and some cash. I could just walk to KFC.
