Possesive Particle
-의

Used to indicate that a word belongs to the previous word. It is also almost always pronounced -에.

Mr. Kim (미스터 김)
Sentence: Mr. Kim's car.
미스터 김의 차.
lit: Mr. Kim-의 car.

Japan (일본)
Sentence: the Japanese company.
일본의 경제.
lit: Japan-의 company

When the posession is clear, however, the possesive particle is frequently dropped in Korean.

Also, 우리 (we/us) can also be translated as a possesive article 'our'.
Our school's carpark.
우리 학교 주차장.
lit: We school carpark.

Special possesive pronouns for 'my' or 'your' have developed based on the possesive particle -의.

I (pol) - 저
My (pol) - 제 (from 저 + 의)

I (inf) - 나
My (inf) - 내 (from 나 + 의)

You - 너
Your - 네 (from 너 + 의)

In the case of 'your', 너의 (from 너 + 의) can still be used, especially since the pronounciation 내, 'my' (inf), and 네, 'your' (inf), are so similar.

Location Particle
-에

Used to indicate time, location or destination. Translated as 'at', 'on', or 'in'.

Time:
Wednesday (수요일)
on Wednesday (수요일에)

Four o'clock (네시)

Location:
Home (집)
At home (집에)

Korea (한국)
in Korea (한국에)

Destination:

to Seoul (서울에)

Direction Particle
-으로 (after consonant)
-로 (after vowel)

Used to indicate direction and very similar in function to the preceding location particle.

Market (시장으로)

School (학교)

Also used to indicate that something is done through or by something else.

Telephone (전화)
by telephone (전화로)

Bus (버스)
I came by bus. (버스로 와써요''')

Action Location Particle
-에서

Indicates the location of the action. It functions as the word 'from'. The same particle is used regardless of whether preceding noun starts with a consonant or a vowel, although it may alter the pronounciation of the preceding consonant.

Let's call from the hotel.
호텔에서 전화 합시다.
lit: Hotel-에서 phone do-let's

I'm sleeping at my friend's house.
친구 집에서 자요.
