Laurance was sitting at the beach with his best friend, just talking.
Garroth: ahhhh, this is nice
Laurance: i feel you buddy, thanks for asking me to hang out
Garroth: of course Laurance! I've just been really busy hanging out with Zane
Laurance: same, I've been with Y/N just as much
Garroth: understandable, especially after.... all that
Laurance: yeah...
Garroth: uhhh h-hey! Look at this!
Laurance: Garroth, you don't have to do anything stupid to make me happy, I've been doing awesome and having Y/N back really helped, how have you been doing?
Garroth: what do you mean?
Laurance: Aphmau told me you almost lost Zane, and I've been seeing you guys get along, is everything back to normal?
Garroth: no... to be honest I still have nightmares, but the thought of what everyone had went through... even Zane... it still makes me shudder till this day
Laurance: we can talk about it if you like
Garroth: I just feel like I could've been smarter about it. There was so many opportunities to stop what happened, if only I just played attention!... then maybe Y/N wouldn't have been gone for a year
Laurance: it wasn't your fault that she got hurt Garroth, she's always been kind but just never shows it. And I bet you were there for her when she needed you
Garroth: yeah but.. everyone is still dealing with what happened and even till this day I-.... I may just want to think about this alone for a bit longer
Laurance: I get you buddy, I'm your best friend you can always talk to me about anything
Garroth: thanks Laurance
Laurance: wanna build a sand castle?
Garroth: sure
They started gathering up sand and forming it.
Laurance: I'll do the door though, I don't trust you with doors
Garroth giggled and continued to build the top half of the castle.
Y/N, Aaron and their pack were waiting in line at a restaurant.
Maria: aw man! I hear this place is great!
Dottie: I know! I'm excited to try their salad!
Blaze: who goes to a restaurant to eat a salad?
Daniel: Yeah! There's plenty of leaves outside
Aaron: and they're free
Dottie: salads taste better than leafs, I've tried
Y/N: I don't know, it tastes the same to me
Dottie: it doesn't taste the same!
Aaron: *laughs* we're just teasing you Dottie
Blaze, Y/N: we were?
The guy with the waiting lists yells next as the other customer leaves. Y/N stood next to Aaron.
Waiter: uhh
Aaron: hey there! I was wondering, what's the wait time for a table of 7?
Waiter: oh um well you see, this place is full so we won't be able to accommodate you
