Chapter 11~ Oh My Irene

Y/N and Laurance were sitting on the couch in their room. Laurance was reading and Y/N had her head on his lap.

Y/N: how are your ears?

Laurance looked away from his book and took off his beanie to reveal his average sized, brown ears with green tips.

Laurance: how do they look?

Y/N: they look nice, they're bigger than mine though

Laurance: is that bad?

Y/N: no, it's natural that they're that size

Laurance: hey wanna leave the house? I really want to buy a new outfit

Y/N: yeah let me just find my wallet

Laurance put his beanie back on and hid his tail under his shirt and they both walked over to where there bed is. Y/N was searching through the dressers and Laurance walked over to the bed table to grab his wallet until there was a high pitched scream outside which caused Laurance's  ears to hurt.

Laurance: ow! My ears!

Y/N: That sounds like fangirling

Laurance: you don't think it's-

Laurance got cut off by the sound of the door knob moving.

Laurance: that sounds like your sister

Y/N: we gotta run!

Y/N grabbed his wrist and went iut the balcony they had in their room. They jumped off the balcony and went running. They went behind a bush to catch their breaths.

Y/N: sorry for making you move so fast, I would've carried you but you're twice my weight. I knew that Melissa wasn't going to stop without seeing us

Laurance: it's fine, I'm good

Y/N: I hope you do know that eventually we'll have to tell everyone, but not yet. Especially when Melissa is acting like this. You okay baby?

Laurance: I'm fine, doing better than before

Melissa: they went this way Kawaii-chan! My snooter has picked something up!

Y/N: oh no

??: pssst!

Laurance and Y/N both turned around to the whisper sound to see Terry hiding behind a building.

Terry: pssst! This way!

Y/N: Terry?

Laurance: is he...?

Y/N: I think we should go

Y/N's ears perked a little by the sound of footsteps coming closer. They went after Terry and ran.

They made it to where they can't find them.

Laurance: thanks for getting us out of that situation

Terry: aw man, Laurance. Didn't realize you had so many gals after ya

Laurance: one is enough

Y/N growled and punched Laurance in the arm.

Laurance: I mean, you have my hands full, in a way i love

Terry: oooh I see

Laurance: no I ughh

Y/N: trying to ignore that comment, thanks for helping us

Terry: not a problem. I saw two girls chasing you and I was like, they were ruining a very romantic moment, I need to stop them!

Y/N: it wasn't really a romantic moment, just-
