**Before we begin this chapter, I know Josh Balz is no longer in the band, but because this takes place on their last Warped Tour, one he was a part of, he is in this chapter and story.**
Ryan and I had a nice lunch with my parents in Nashville. It was nice to be away from the tour life for a little bit, pretending it was just my parents, my boyfriend and I catching up because we were all in the same town for some reason. It was a shock when I came back to the merch table to dirty looks and bombarding fans wondering when and where the signing was. Thankfully it had all slowed down as the set time came closer. If we were quiet enough you could hear them playing their songs.
"We have to go." Kylie said as I finally realized that I was not paying any attention to the person on the phone.
"Okay, I will be there in just a few."
She nodded and then I went back to paying attention to Randy who had called in the middle of their set. "Do you know what the last invoice you sent them was? This charge just doesn't make sense."
"I don't know Randy, scan them to me and then I can break them down."
"And the wireline invoices?"
Wireline invoices? "Send me the account number and I will get it to you before 5 your time." I grumbled, moving away from the front of the of the booth to start my computer, Bob and Stan moved expertly around me, knowing I had shut off the retail, if you could even call my working the merchant booth retail, brain had shut off. "I may need more info than an account number, PINs and service address."
"Okay, just let me know. Also, do you think you could get the MIS contract submitted for counter signature?"
Signing on, I looked up and checked the giant lines that were forming at any of the booths around us, including ours. "What signed agreement?"
"Has Madison not gotten it to you yet?"
"She may have, I haven't checked my email yet today. Let me do that and I will let you know if I haven't gotten it yet. If I have I will submit it and let you know when that's done."
"Thank you Gemma."
"Sure, anything else?"
"I think that's it for now."
"Okay, I will talk to you in a few."
"Bye." He said as I hung up, not even worrying about a response.
Heaving a heavy sigh as I adjusted the fan that would attempt to keep me cool. "Wireline, countersignature, customer invoices." I mumbled under my breath, clicking the email icon to check what utter hell I would be sure to face tonight as we traveled elsewhere. It took forever to load 20 emails, but they were a pretty hefty emails.
All of them were things I needed to get done tonight so that people could do their job, but as I read through some of them, to do my job I needed more info. I found the email that had the account number, and started to call in, going through the prompts and replying to emails, to get the info I needed. It was easy to multitask on a task like this, because most of the time, I'm on hold. Just as Randy had mentioned, Madison has already sent the signed MIS contract that I needed to send for countersignature. As I continued to set on hold, I went ahead and fired off emails, took care of the customer issues and invoicing questions.
