Finally the last class of the day is over. I'm so excited for movie night with Jax. I open my locker and start getting my books and things out.
I see mike walking up as I was closing my locker.
"Hey babe!" I say as he wraps his arm around my waist.
"So do we get to be alone tonight?" He asks.
"Actually, about that I made plans with Jax tonight." I say feeling guilty.
"What? You told me after school Jen" he says in an agitated voice.
"Mike he was really upset about this summer I just wanna make it up to him."
"He's not your boyfriend Jen, you shouldn't feel obligated to make him happy."
"He's my best friend Mike, and I don't feel obligated to make him happy, it's just something I like doing." I say, starting to be annoyed
"Yea well what about me being happy?" He asks.
"I care about you being happy Mike, I just really wanna spend some time with Jax." I tell him.
"How about after the movie you come over." I say
"Spend the night with me" I say while grabbing his hands.
"Are you sure Jax isn't gonna wanna spend the night?" He says sarcastically.
"I'm positive." I gave him a quick kiss and walked off. I have to get ready for tonight.

After the movie and saying good bye to Jax I decided to go home. I took a shower and brushed my hair then I called Mike.
"Hey you've reached Mike, leave a message...or don't...beeeeep."
I called mike a few more times and he still didn't pick up. I decided to call Jax and ask if he wanted to spend the night. We used to always spend the night at each others houses.
After three rings he finally picks up
"Jen?" He answered. He sounded as if he was asleep.
"Hey Jax, look I know you're probably tired and this is a weird question-
"I'm on the way." He interrupts me.
"How did you know what I was gonna ask?" I asked curiously.
"Do I need to remind you we've know each other our whole lives? Plus I know you don't like being in the house by yourself." He said.
"Oh. Well ok I'll see you when you get here!" I exclaimed. I sounded a little too excited.
He chuckled. "Ok I'll talk you when I get there."
"Bye."
"Bye."
After twenty minutes I hear a knock on my room door.
I open it to see Jax standing there with a book bag.
"I can't believe you still have that key." I said.
"Well you never know I might need to come over and save you from Mike." He laughed.
"Or to save Mike from me." I said while laughing.
"Yea that too." He said as he put down his book bag and took off his shirt and pants. Damn he looks good.
He looks up at me. "Eyes up here Jen."
"What?... oh sorry I was just um...you work out?" I asked. I know my face looked like a tomato right now.
"Yea... being on the lacrosse team you gotta work out." He says.
"Right...well let's go to bed, big day tomorrow." I say as I get under the covers.
Jax gets under the covers and wraps his arm around me. He smells so good!
"Good night Jax." I say
"Good night Jen." He says and pulls me closer to him.
Yea this is definitely normal between us.

While Jax and I got dressed for school we decided to make a list of people to invite for the party.
"We're definitely inviting Hayley." I demanded.
"Hayley's a slut, I still don't understand how you two are even friends. You aren't even from the same social group as her." He said.
"She's not a slut she's just lonely." I said, making an excuse for Hayley's actions.
"Yea lonely enough to sleep with other girls boyfriends." Jax mumbled.
"I heard you, and she hasn't slept with mine so maybe she's not as bad you think." I defended.
Jax looked up and stared at me. He had a look on his face as if he knew something I didn't.
I got worried. Mike wouldn't do that to me. Would he?
"Di- did she?" I asked worried.
Jax shook his head and finished putting his shoes on.
"I don't think Mike would do that you, but if he does cheat on you I'm gonna kick his ass." Jax says.
"Well hopefully it won't come to that. You two have been friends since ninth grade. I would hate for it to end because of me." I say as I go to sit next to him on my bed.
Jax looks me and wraps his arm around my shoulder.
"You were my best friend first. I will kill any guy that ever breaks your heart, friend or not." He say comfortingly
"I love you so much, you're the best." I say while giving him a hug.
"I know, and I love you too." He hugs me back.
"Also since we're hugging right now, I'm lazy and I would love a ride to school." I say, knowing that he'll take me.
"Ok well let's go before we're late." He rushes.
"Ok." I say while grabbing my book bag and phone along with my charger and car charger.
We go downstairs and were greeted by my mom and dad in the kitchen.
"Hey honey and Jax." My mom says.
My dad looks up from eating and just waves. His mouth is full of food.
"Hey Mrs. Jones." Jax says while grabbing buttered toast from a plate and walking out.
I grabbed a banana and followed.
"Hey mom!" I yelled. I could hear her telling us to have a great day as we're walking out.
"Your mom is hot." Says Jax as he gets in the car.
"Shut up that's gross." I say as I get in the car.
Hey I'm back and with new chapters!! Sorry I've been gone for so long I had school and editing and terrible writers block but I'm back and with more ideas!!
