He's so perfect. I always admire him from afar. I haven't seen him in three months. It was such a long summer, I was in London for the summer with my mom while he was here with Emma. Emma, my best friend for two years. I remember when she asked me if Jax was dating anyone, she was so interested in him. "Jen he's so cute," Emma said in excitement. "Then you should ask him out, Emma," I said. "No. it's weird when a girl asks a guy out." She said, looking at me with a worried expression. "I know my best friend Emma, he loves a girl who goes after what she wants. Be bold and go talk to him." She sighs, "Fine."

"Hey, earth to Jenny!!" I jump back from a hand waving in front of my face. "What's wrong with you?" Hayley asks. Hayley became my friend a month before summer started. She's a great friend but she's also an asshole when she wants to be. "Nothing's wrong I'm just thinking about the summer." We are standing in the school hallway by my locker, Jax's locker is across from mine.
"Speaking of summer, how was London?" asks Hayley. "It was amazing and beautiful and just... memorable." I boast. "Well at least you enjoyed your summer, everyone is dating someone so I couldn't get myself a summer fling which sucked ass by the way," Hayley complains. "I'm sorry about your sucky summer. Maybe this year something good will happen." I wonder if I was telling her that or myself. My vision was darkened by a set of hands. "Guess who?" a deep voice says. "Mike!" I say excitedly as I wrapped my arms around his neck. His hands were on my waist. "Hey, beautiful." He leans in and kisses me. His hands now resting on my neck as his thumb rubbed my cheek. I miss kissing him. I can never get enough, it's always passionate and sweet. "You know it's only the first day." He says. His hazel eyes seemed a little darker, I knew what that meant. "I'm not leaving school," I tell him, smiling. I've never missed the first day back. EVER. I sure wasn't gonna start now. "Not even for me?" He asks looking at me like a sad puppy. "I promise after school," I say as I lean and kiss him. He looks up sees Hayley texting away on her phone. "Hey, Hayley" he greets her. "Bye Mike and I'll see you later Jen." Then she walks away still texting. "And remind me why you two are friends." He looks at me. "She's nice to me, she just doesn't like you. I wonder why." I furrow my eyebrows. "I have no clue." He mumbles. "Well I should probably get to class, are you gonna be at lunch or are you skipping?" I ask. "Um...I'm just gonna go home, my parents are out of town and I'm gonna take advantage of it and sleep." He says with a smile. "Ok well, I guess I'll see you later?"
"Yes, you will." He says, he turns around and walks toward the exit.
I smile as I walk to class, when I got to my first class I saw an empty desk next to Emma. Just the girl I needed to see.
"Hey," I whisper to Emma.
"Hey, Jen." She whispered back.
I start paying attention to the teacher. She was talking about Mitosis and other biology things that didn't really care about.
After class, Emma and I start walking to our lockers.
"So how was your summer?" I ask her.
"It was great! Spent most of it with Jax but that's it." She says while smiling.
"Where is Jax? He would usually meet me by my locker but he didn't show." I say curiously
"He told me he'll come around lunch, he said he wasn't feeling good this morning." She says with a worried expression.
"Did you take his temperature or anything?" I ask worriedly.
"No, he told me he should be fine by lunch so I believe him." She says.
"Ok, well if he's not here by lunch I'm going to go see him." I determine.
"Yeah, I'm sure he misses you." She says.
"Maybe," I said unsurely. Emma fixes her hair in her mirror that's on her locker door before she closes it and looks at me.
"See you later Jen." She says as she walks into her next class.
"See ya," I say as I started walking in the opposite direction.
I walk a little faster so I'm not late for class, luckily I get there before the bell rings. I walk in and there are only a few students in the class. No sign of Jax. I sit down at an empty desk and take my notebook out of my book bag. After the bell rings more students started walking in, I see Jax but I look away, afraid to make eye contact with him. He doesn't say anything to me when he sits down. Not even "Hey." He doesn't say anything to me the entire class. When the bell rings he gets up and starts grabbing his things and starts walking out the classroom, I followed right behind him.

"Hey, Jax!" I yell trying to get his attention. He continues walking as if he didn't hear me. I know he heard me.  I finally catch up to him.

"Jax! Ok listen I know you're mad and you have every right to be-
"Damn right I'm mad!" He says. He starts putting his things in his locker.

After he put his things in his locker he turned around and looked at me.  I didn't like the way he was looking at me.  He looks so pissed off as if he hated me and it made me sad.

"Jax please don't be mad, I'm sorry ok. I should've called you or something but I didn't. I just know that I missed you so much and I don't want us to argue."

He stared at me and I saw his face change to a more softer expression. He sighed.

"You're lucky I can't stay mad at you, and you have to make this up to me." He demanded.

"Ok fine!, How about a movie?" I asked.

"Just you and me," I said.

"Ok. Friday at 8?" He asks,

"Yes! I can't wait!

"Ok Well let's get to lunch and maybe you can tell me about London and show me some pics," He said as he put his arm out for me.

I hooked my arm onto his arm and we walked to the cafeteria. I'm so glad that he's no longer pissed at me, I cant handle Jax hating me.
