After Jax dropped me off at home I decided to call the girls and start planning the sleepover. I decided to call Katie first. Katie and I became friends in middle school. Her love for the arts is amazing. She loves to dance and act. Her style is very sexy and casual. She's always a great friend to me.
I called her phone and she answered on the first ring.
"Hey, Jenny!" She exclaims.
"Hey Katie, I'm just calling to see if you're still on for the sleepover," I say while I grab the things I need for a shower.
"Of course! I was going to come to your house and get dressed in my pajamas there! We have so much to talk about." She says excitedly.
"Ok! Well, I will be here and I can't wait to see you!" I say before we say our goodbyes and hang up.
After I spoke to Katie I decided to make this process happen faster so I did a group skype call with Melissa, Vanessa, Jasmine, Andrea, Hayley, Megan, and Emma.
It rung for a few seconds before everyone answered, except Hayley.
"Hey, Jen!"
"Jenny!"
"Wow finally she skypes us, you could've done this in London bitch!"
"I miss yall too! I just wanted to make this process faster and ask if we're still having the sleepover," I say hopefully,
"Of course we're still coming! Everyone is gonna meet at my house and then I'm gonna drive my mom's van and we're gonna come to your house." Says Jasmine.
"Oh ok! That's awesome! Has anyone spoken to Hayley?" I ask curiously.
"Yea I called her to ask her if she was coming, she said she was busy rn but shell meet us at your house," Andrea said.
Hmm.....busy doing what? having sex with my boyfriend? I wanna see if she's gonna be honest and upfront with me today at the sleepover. I don't want to be mad at her, I wanna be pissed at mike but if she isn't honest with me tonight, I'm gonna be pissed at her and mike.
"Well, I will see you guys tonight!" I say excitedly.
"Same! See ya later Jen!"
"Bye Jenny!"
"Bye!"
After I ended the call the call I went and took a shower. The hot water felt really good on my skin, it was soothing in a way. I washed my skin and got out of the shower, I put my towel around me and walked out of the bathroom and is greeted by Mike.
"What are you are you doing here?" I ask, holding on to my towel tighter.
"Jen please let me explain," He said walking up to me.
"There's nothing to explain Mike!" I said while backing away from him.
"You cheated on me with Haley! Out of all people my friend, well now former friend, I don't want to hear anything you have to say." I say angrily. I'm so pissed at this moment that I want to smack him.
"Jen that kiss means nothing to me. ok I was drunk and she was there, it was a moment of weakness and I'm so sorry," he explained.
"I have to get ready for my sleepover so I would like for you to leave please," I say. I'm still in my towel and I would like to get dressed but he won't leave.
"So you'll hate me and forgive her? I didn't kiss her by myself she kissed me back Jen," He said,
"I will deal with Hayley the way I want to deal with her, and how did you know about the sleepover, the only guy that knows is Jax," I say accusingly.
"Nice, Jax knows before I do," He says scoffing,
"You know what I don't care how you know and I don't care what you think about me and Jax's friendship, I just want you to get the fuck out of my house, lose my number, and when you see me in school you don't know me."
He stares at me for a few seconds but he still doesn't leave.
"GET THE FUCK OUT MIKE!" I yell. Him standing here isn't making it better, I can feel the tears coming and I'm trying not to let him see him cry.
"Whatever Jennifer, have a nice life," He says as he walks out of my room.
I sat on my bed and as soon as I heard my front door slam, I started crying, I haven't cried this hard since my grandmother died. I don't know what hurt worse, him and Hayley betraying me or watching someone I love walk away from me. It hurts so bad. I couldn't stop crying.
I heard a knock on my bedroom door and my mother walks in.
"Hey Honey," She says while walking.
"Hey mom," I say as I get up to go in my closet and put on my underwear.
I can hear her sigh and sit on my bed. I don't want to talk about what happened but I know she's gonna want to know.
"So you want to talk about what happened with Mike a few minutes ago?" She asks.
I found my SpongeBob pajamas and put it on and walk out of my closet.
"Uh... nothing important, we just broke up that's all," I say while sitting down next to her.
"Really? Honey listen I know Mike is...well was your first boyfriend and I'm pretty sure your first everything after that-
"Woah mom, I don't wanna know what you know involving me and Mike," I say while laughing.
"Sorry, I know me and your father are barely here and when we are, were working, I just want to be more involved in your life."
I looked at her and she was looking at me as if she was looking for something but couldn't find it.
"Ok well, Mike cheated on me with Hayley," I looked up at my ceiling because I can feel the tears trying to come out and I don't want them to.
"Oh...honey I'm so sorry," She sympathizes.
She reaches over to pull me into a hug and the second I hugged her back I started crying again. This time I cried worse than the first time.
