Saturday morning i got up and put my war clothes on. I slipped in over the knee washed capris,my off the shoulder graphic tee that had "You only make war with your enemies",my nike shoes, put my contacts in,put my hair in a ponytail and my cap on. This means war. I hurried downstairs to find my sister Katherine lounging on the sofa. "Hey Kat!" I greeted her giving her a big hug. "Hey Lace..Where are you going?" She asked scanning my clothes. "Um-" she cut me off. "Nevermind i don't want to know anymore.Uh hey we're coming over for dinner tonight and bringing Lu...are you going to join us." "Yeah sure totally i'll be there but i can't promise on time." I said running out. I was determined to get Trace back so I ran over to his house hoping he wasn't there but just in case he was,I needed an excuse to be over there so I had already grabbed his jacket. I knock on the door and Mrs. Parks answered it. "Hey Lacey. Wow you've grown. "Yeah you too. How are you doing and is Trace here by any chance?" I asked her patting her stomach. She was pregnant by the way. "No sorry he's at the park.I'll tell him you stopped by though. "No you don't have to I just came over to return his jacket." I said in my lying high pitched voice. I'm surprised she didn't notice it. "Oh." She giggled. "Ok I'll go there then. Thanks bye!" I said running out of her yard. It was now 2:00. I reached the park and found Trace laying on the jungle gym. Drats! How I'm suppose to prank him. I looked around the park and spotted Alex trying to sweet talk this girl. He was motioning his hands while she laughed. "Alex!" I whispered shouted while waving my hands. He looked over at me hiding behind the bushes and nodded his head yeah before turning to the girl. He said something else to her and she handed him something before saying bye. Alex came over looking happy as ever. "What are you glowing about and what did that girl just give you?" I smirked. "None of your business and what do you want?" He chuckled. I gave him a evil glare. "Oh what did he do?" He laughed. "Left me hanging from the ceiling by a rope upside down!" "Wow that's impressive." I slapped his shoulder. "Ouch..what do you want me to do?" "Light bulb! I need you to have a challenge for the monkey bars. Bet him he can't make it across without letting go ok." "Ok team Lace let's do this!" He said giving himself a fist pump. "Don't ever do that again.I'm going to super glue him to it." I joked. Alex went over to Trace and Trace got up. I hurried and put dry super glue on the monkey bars and Trace went first. Alex gave me the come out sign. I walked over and stood by Alex crossing my arms over my chest and raising my eyebrow. "Hey Trace." I said tapping my foot. "Lace what are you doing here?" "If you didn't notice this park is public." I joked. The plan was going well until I felt droplets of water on me skin. "Well that's my cue to go. Come on Tracey." Alex said grabbing her hand as she jumped up and down. "Mee much fun!" She yelled. "Hey Alex wait up!" Trace yelled letting the monkey bars go but his hand was glued so he started looking mad. "What did you do Lacey?" He sighed. "Super glue..my number one resource." I joked throwing the bottle up and down in the air. "Later Trace." I yelled walking away while the rain got heavy. "Lacey come back here and stop playing!" He yelled still trying to get free. "Fiiiine!" I yelled marching back over to him. "First tell me what were you doing last night that close to my face dude." I demanded. "I don't know what you are talking about." He chuckled sending me to turn around on my heels getting ready to walk away. "Ok!" He yelled. I turned back around. "No I'm not telling you and plus you wouldn't leave me out here while it's raining cats and dogs knowing that at any moment a bolt of lightening can strike this metal and kill me. "Wow looks light this is flipped." I joked looking at his body hanging there wet. His belly button was visible and so was his hot abs..not all of them just the bottom two. "You left me hanging last night....told you I'd get loose." I smirked
