Next Morning...

Mika's POV

I woke up with a very cold feeling, without a familiar arm around me. I look at my side to see an empty space. No Vic. It's still too early so I assume she didn't sleep beside me last night.

I got up from our bed and went to the bathroom to do my morning rituals after doing my morning rituals I check up on Kaira first but she's still asleep

I went downstairs and saw Vic laying on the couch with her pillow and nothing else. Her body curled up she's probably cold.

Sorry, love. Hayst. Katabi dapat kita eh.

I walk towards her and sat down beside her

I slowly caressed her cheek and she unconsciously smiled but that smile changed when she opened her eyes.

I was greeted by a cold look from my own wife which is very new to me

She instantly sat up moving away from my touches

I stare at her as she stands up.

I'm waiting. Waiting for her to greet me 'good morning', I'm waiting for that good morning-kiss she always gives me but no. She has this poker face on right now. She looks at me one more time before taking her pillow from the couch and walking away from me.

She was about to go up the stairs but I called her...

Mika : " Vic- "

Vic : " I have to get ready for work. "

With that said she went up the stairs not giving me a chance to say what I want to say.

Clearly she doesn't want to talk to me and it's all my fault. Vic has been nothing but faithful and loyal to me these years that we're together but I let my jealousy and insecurities ruin everything.

I just hope and wish that she forgives me soon cause I don't think I can last long with her cold treatment.

I decided that I'll cook breakfast for her today

I went to the kitchen to cook her food

- skip cooking -

After a few minutes of cooking I went up and as soon as I opened our bedroom door that's the time she exited the bathroom door with a towel wrap around her body.

She was drying her hair with another towel I went to our closet to pick her clothes I was running my hands through a series of polo but another hand hand stopped me

Vic : " I can manage, Mika "

She coldly said

Mika : " no, let me do this please"

I continued what I was doing but she stopped me again

Vic : " Mika stop. Umiiyak si Kaira unahin mo siya "

I didn't even realize that Kaira was crying I wanted to help Vic so much.

I walked towards Kaira's crib with tears running down my face I picked Kaira up and slightly swayed Kaira in my arms

Mika : " shhhhh it's o-okay "

I was saying it to Kaira but it felt like I was saying it to myself too

Vic's POV

I turn my back to Mika not wanting to see her like that specially that I was the reason for it but she has to understand I'm hurt too.
