Few days later

Vic's POV

3am

* baby crying *

I slowly opened my eyes and saw that it was still dark outside I felt our bed move and saw Mika about to stand up she probably woke up because of Kaira's crying

I held her hand and stopped her from getting up

Vic : " ako na "

She nodded and went back to bed
I stood up and walked towards Kaira's crib just beside our bed I picked her up rubbing her back trying to calm her down while I sway back and forth

Vic : " shhhh "

I whispered to her. After a few more minutes of swaying and almost falling asleep standing up she finally fell asleep I slowly laid her down on her crib making sure not to wake her up again

I went back to our carefully so that I wouldn't wake Mika up

* insert alarm ringing *

I reached for my phone at the side table to turn my alarm off it's 6am so I had to get ready for work

I slowly removed Mika's hand that's wrapped around my waist I stood up and went to the bathroom

After doing all my morning routines in the bathroom I started to get dress as I was about to button up my polo Kaira started to cry again

I rushed to her and slightly tapped her leg she instantly stopped crying after making sure that she's fully asleep I went back on getting dressed

After getting dressed and getting all the things that I need for my work I walked to Mika's side of the bed and kissed her forehead waking her up she slowly opened her eyes

Vic : " love, aalis na ako ha "

Mika : " nag breakfast ka na ba?"

Vic : " sa office na lang baka malate ako "

Mika : " gagawan muna kita ng sandwich "

She was about to get up but I stopped her again

Vic : " no love okay lang mag pahinga ka muna "

Mika : " no kailangan ko na din bumangon mag papa araw kami ni Kaira "

She stood up and went to the bathroom doing her morning routines

Mika's POV

After doing my morning routines I went down to the kitchen with Vic following me I quickly made her a sandwich

Vic : " thank you, love "

She smiled at me and I smiled back she went closer to me and our lips was about to touch when we heard a crying sound from upstairs

I moved back and gave Vic a hesitant smile

Mika : " wait lang love ha "

Vic : " sure "

She nodded and I rushed upstairs to where Kaira is

I picked her up and as soon as I did she stopped crying I went back downstairs to see Vic ready to go

Vic : " kailangan ko na umalis baka ma-late ako "

We all walked outside when we in front of our car Vic faced me

Vic : " bye, love "

She gave me quick kiss on my lips

Vic : " bye baby "
