My Best friend/Crush

"Aww." Groggily I opened my eyes to see who spoke. I blinked. The entire class was staring at me. Some of them had cameras or their phones, but all of them had an, "It's so adorable!" face on. I blushed as I recalled last night. Looking up, I saw that Tenya was still asleep. Denki snickered. "What were you two doing last night?" I blushed heavily at his suggestive tone. "Nothing! I had a nightmare and Tenya comforted me. That's it!"

"Uh huh." He showed me a picture on his phone. Tenya had his arms wrapped around my waist. And was whispering in my ear while we both smiled. "You were spying on us?!" He nodded. "It was kinda hard not to hear you screaming." "Hey Denki?" "Yes?" I sighed. "Why is that picture your screensaver?" He smiled and leaned out of my reach. "I ship it!"

It had been a few weeks since my nightmare and Tenya and I started became extremely close. We hung out a lot more, cook dinner together, go shopping together, and play video games together. It became a rare sight to see us seperate. 

I groaned in relief. It was finally Friday, which meant that Halloween was tomorrow. The dorms had become heavily decorated with pumpkins and bats, and of course the "occasional" mountain  of candy. 

Walking through more candy wrappers, I grimaced. I couldn't remember the last time I had seen the floor. Seriously! How hard was it for these people to clean up after themselves? Groaning, I bent down and cleaned the wrappers up. Hearing a click, I whirled around. Mineta cackled gleefully and tried to flee, but I caught him by the collar of his shirt and ripped his camera from his grasp.

Glowering at him I grit my teeth and burnt his camera. Leaning close to his ear, I hissed. "If you ever do that again, I will personally rip the eyes from your skull." He whimpered and ran off, clutching his eyes as he did so. "Was that really necessary?" I smiled at looked up. "Of course it was darling! I need to have some fun to!" Tenya sighed. "Did you hear about the huge party the school is throwing tomorrow?"

I was beyond excited. The Halloween party was only an hour away! I checked myself over in the mirror again, nodding in approval at my costume.

Grinning, I made my way to Tenya's room and knocked. He opened the door and I blushed, then squealed. "You. Look. Amazing!" In all honesty, he looked hot, but I definitely was not going to tell him that. He smiled "Thanks you lo-" his eyes widened and a dark blush covered his cheeks. "Wow."

I smirked and twirled so my skirt flared up. "Like what you see?" I said teasingly. His cheeks turned a darker shade and he looked away. "L-let's just go to this party."

As soon as we arrived at the party, people started swarming us. I blushed at the vulgar comments the boy shouted and hid behind Tenya. They finally noticed his costume. "OMG!" Mina squealed. "They have matching costumes!" Uraraka gasped. "Are you two a couple!?" We both blushed and simultaneously yelled, "NO!"

Later that night

I sighed and turned over in my bed again. No matter what I did, I just couldn't get to sleep. Sighing, I got up and walked to Tenya's room. Before I could knock, the door opened and he appeared, looking amused. "Couldn't sleep?" I nodded. "Thought so." He opened his door wider so I could step in. Once he got into the light, I blushed. His usually neat hair was messy and he was shirtless.

He smirked. "Like what you see?" I blushed harder. "S-shut up." He just laughed and shook his head. He nodded towards his bed. "Go ahead. I'll turn the lights off." I walked to his bed and laid down, snuggling under his blankets. A few moments later, I felt the bed dip. I looked up to see Tenya propped up on his elbow and looking down at me. Phone in hand.

When I shot him a confused look, he shrugged. "Tensie couldn't believe I got a girl in my bed." I punched his shoulder playfully as he laughed. Flipping him off, I glared at him and stuck out my tounge. He shrugged and his phone went off, signalling an incoming video call. He smirked and accepted it angling the phone a bit towards me so I could see.

Tensie sat on the other side of the screen silently. Then suddenly, he broke into a grin. "Wow! Who would've thought you would actually get a girl into your bed before me?" Tenya blushed and looked away. I blushed and grumbled. "It's just because I can't sleep." He raised his eyebrow. "Uh huh. Don't forget to invite me to the wedding!" We both glared at him and hissed in sync. "We aren't dating!"

He shook his head and smiled a patronizing smile. "Oh, young love." He clutched his chest and began laughing so hard tears formed in his eyes when he saw our expressions. "G-goodnight!" He managed to choke out, still laughing. With that, the screen went black. I glared at Tenya. "You're brother is evil." He grinned sheepishly. "Sorry." I sighed and snuggled close to him as his arms wrapped around me.

I sighed. In all honesty, Tensie wasn't to far from the truth. I really liked Tenya, but I knew he would always just see me as a friend. I shook my head. Better best friends then him hating me. I relaxed when he started stroking my hair. For some reason, when he did that, it would always put me to sleep. "Tenya?" I whispered drowsily. "Hmm?" "Thanks." I could almost hear his smile as he spoke. "Anytime."

I looked down at Renae and sighed. I knew Tensie had teased me because he knew of my feelings for her. Looking down at her sleeping in my arms, I wished she would see me as more than just a friend. But it wasn't likely.
